Enjoyed the hour-long circumnavigation of Derwent Water. This trip stops at various points round the lake where you can disembark if desired. Be sure to get the map outlining the route. A few pointers via the PA telling passengers a little about the sights would have been welcome for many I'm sure. But I enjoyed the P&Q (especially as I... More

Customer service lacking on arrival. No information given about where to get boat from or what the boat was called. Would of been nice to have a commentary whilst on board. Boat was very noisy and smelt of diesel with mops, brushes and cleaning equipment visible.

Nice little trip around Derwentwater. Not too expensive - 10% discount given. I think if a narrative was given by the crew it would be much more interesting to visitors.

Nice clean all weather boats and fairly easy to find. I felt it was a bit expensive for a round the lake trip but they are the only show in town. More interaction from the staff would add to the experience - announcing the stops for example.

Lovely wooden boats. It is just beautiful. Best way to get to the start of you track. They have family tickets. Clockwise and anticlockwise routes. There is a large car park by the theatre, it is not cheap and only takes coins so bring a stash of cash.

The round trip gives exellent views of the surroundings and a good way of visiting spots around the shore. The Lower Brandlehow landing stage is closed for repairs, but this was not advertised in any way and I only found out when asking to be set down there. This would have been very inconvenient if I had been walking there... More

Great views of the fells and mountains from the lake. Be careful if you sit at the front of the boat as you will be sure to get wet at some part of the journey

Lovely lake to sail on, but info and customer service leave a lot to be desired. The landing stage we wanted was closed, which would have been helpful to know in advance as we were meeting friends (we were told it was closed for repairs when we were on the boat). The last boat back from Keswick was quite early... More

We had a brilliant day on the lake and really enjoyed hopping on and off the boats which operated a very efficient service

The weather turned very damp during the trip and visibility was quite poor (no fault of the staff of course). It would have been good to have sights of interest pointed out en route.
