Really good day out here - lesson from instructor was really interesting and could get involved straight away - really good that once you are signed off as competent that you can then climb and belay on your own and can stay all day. Helps to break the day up as you can have a break from climbing and have... More

My boyfriend and I did an archery session here, it was £15 each for an hour and it was just the two of us with the instructor. It was great value, we got to shoot loads of arrows and the friendly competitions were fun too!!

An excellent morning out. We paid £15 each for an hours lesson starting at 10am and then stayed to practise our new found skills until 1.30pm. Great for a wet day. We though we would be out of place being two adults during the summer holidays however there was a wide range of grouping there. All staff were very friendly... More

Our 8 year old had the kids climbing lesson and couldn't drag him away from the bouldering area afterwards. He loved it. Meanwhile the 2 and 5 year olds had a fantastic time in Rookery Woods on the zip wire and play area, archery (arrows with suckers), rounding up the coloured sheep and orienteering. Fantastic new play area, they loved... More

Eventually got around to visiting the Keswick Climbing Wall with my grandson,(8 yrs old). The centre is approximately 2 miles from the centre of keswick and it is well sign posted, so easy to find. Ample free parking for visitors too. We arrived without booking in advance and booked an hour on the climbing wall and an hour of archery.... More

My family enjoyed a great afternoon on the high ropes course and we did archery. It was a really fun time. Sam was our guide for the whole afternoon and he made sure they were safe on the ropes course ("don't double unclick" :). And he didn't laugh too hard when my husband fell face forward in the net!! We were only passing, having walked from the Stone Circles, but we called for a loo & a brew and it was great. From a distance outside (as we had dogs with us) the walls didn't look too scary, yet when I was passing to get to the toilets OMG, they suddenly got bigger!!!! It's all very clean and loos... More

Had a brilliant afternoon with my two daughters (9 & 12 years), Ghyll scrambling....first time to try something like this and it was such fun. We joined another family of mum and daughters and the whole group got on really well. The instructor was excellent, patient and encouraging and safety attentive without that getting in the way of adventurous fun.... More
