Had a really good day out visiting the mine and going on the underground tour. It was interesting and informative, all the kids on the tour seemed to enjoy it. The high light for me was the drive up to the mine on the pass, great views up there. More

The main activity is a tour of the slate mine which took about an hour. One of the best things about the tour was having to wear miners helmet and lamp - which the kids loved made them feel like a miner.
