We booked the segway experience a few weeks ago and were concerned as heard so much negative comments, we were very worried. No reason to be. We were made welcome from the time we stepped in through the booking office to the end of the tour. Chris, our guide, was great. chatted while we went round and generally made sure... More

We've just got home after spending the afternoon doing the new (only opened 2 and 1/2 weeks ago) zip trek with GoApe Grizedale. Our instructors Craig and Sam gave clear instructions and were helpful and chatty. At £45 it's not cheap but is great fun - you do a short training zip and then seven tandem zips (so you can... I visited this go ape with my girlfriend and it is great fun and well priced. We arrived 30 minutes late an it was no problem as we were just moved onto the next available slot which happened to be half an hour later. Go ape itself is great but you must bear in mind that ultimately once you are... More

Went to go ape on a beautiful day which obviously helped. The staff were very enthusiastic and always engaged you with friendly conversation and instruction. The course itself was fun.....but unfortunately for us we had done a similar tree top experience in America and this one just didn't compare. The difficulty level involved getting round this course was minimal. If... More

Family visit with my sister's family too. Just did the Junior course as the kids are a few years too young for the full course. My wee boy was so pleased to be able to go with his big sister and big cousin. A fun-filled hour (with a little over-run as it was a quiet day). Fantastic staff really made... More

I have been to the GO Ape at Rivington, but i think this one is even better! There are more and longer zip lines, and the final tarzan swing is a little more EXTREME! :) Fantastic group / family fun! Even for the most adventurous this is a little scary to start. Well woirht the £30, its a great day... More

we just did the trails, which were clearly marked. But there were zip lines all over the forest, which seemed a blast. The guides/workers were extremely helpful.

Let's not beat around the bush.. It is high.. Some parts more than others! The aerial assault course (go ape) is split into 6 challenges.. The 1st challenge is just the induction section, it isn't high up at all and ends with a small zip line.. After that it starts to get tricky.. I won't give too much away after... More
