We joined the brewery tour, and it was great. Very informative and we get to try different beer samples in very generous amounts. And we had our lunch there as well. Food was fantastic, the person was really friendly. And the scones there, best I ever had in the UK. Highly recommended.

Brewery tour organised by friend whilst I was visiting. Really interesting. Very friendly staff with good level of knowledge. Nice size brewery for this sort of thing as you can really see the process in action. Excellent beer after the tour!

So a brewery tour is a brewery tour is a brewery tour right? Well not quite. Having done some good and “bad” tours in everything from an industrial size Irish conglomerate to a tiny back room in Vegas I can tell you that you always pretty much hear the same thing (surprise!) and the difference is often something unique, a... Really enjoyed learning the history of this great British Brewery. Good way of spending a couple of hours in Cockermouth and sampling good British beer! Cafe is a bit hit and miss, wife waited for 30 minutes for a cup of tea! (and still didn't get it!) but who want tea in a brewery?

We were on holiday in Keswick and decided to visit this brewery as it is my husbands favourite. The tour cost about £9 and we booked in advance on the internet. When we arrived we spent some time looking around the shop, which ells beer and other bits and pieces. There is also a small cafe if you want some... More

Would fully... More

My wife and I recently visited the Jennings brewery tour during our stay in Cockermouth. We arrived in good time and enjoyed a tasty lunch in the coffee shop before our tour commenced. Our guide made everyone feel very welcome and informed us of a brief history of the factory and it's former owners. The tour itself was both informative... More
