My grandson is dinosaur mad and this place was spot on for him with lots of hands on stuff. The building was once part of Hull's fruit market and is one of the few buildings in the area not to have been flattened in the blitz. The owners have kept faith with its history so it is not a slick... More

We've been before a few years ago & when we said we were going back on holiday to the area the kids wanted to go back to Dinostar. Its really quite small so can't imagine anyone managing to spend that long there. Theres a lot of interavtive displays cramed in & the kids collect stamps on the way round, then... More

We visited yesterday with an almost five year old and almost three year old. We all loved it. Lots to touch and noises to make. Very reasonable entrance price. I'd recommend it for any children under ten. It must have been a labour of love to put together. Parking easy around there too and you can walk to see the... More

I took my 4 year old, who loves dinosaurs but finds big animatronic ones quite scary, and he loved it. You can touch pretty much everything, there is plenty of hands on stuff, and while it isn't a polished, professional museum it was great fun, especially as 3 of us got in for £6! It took us about an hour... More

My worries were that because this is a small place it would be disappointing, but I was wrong it was brilliant. There's lots for kids to interact with, plenty of opportunities for photos that make you look like you're going to be eaten, and even a play area with sand pits and a Jurrassic park toy bit. Worth the price,... More

Great place for children to learn all about dinosures. Very interactive.children can find stamps around the building and if they find them all they can go back for free. Also a cheap couple off hours for children to learn about dinsaures.

Visited today for a family member birthday cost £9 for a walk round someones house for all of 10 minutes. The fossils and dinosaurs were outdated and tatty. There were no facilities for prams or disabled the only way to reach the upper level is to climb a steep set of cramped stairs.

Me and my 2 children 4 & 7 and nephew 10 visited in Jan 2015. The main reason for visit was due to their school topic "back to the future" researching dinosaurs etc. Absolutely fantastic having this literally on doorstep. We knew it wasnt going to be like history museum etc - this is on a smaller scale - but... More

We came here with our almost two year old and she loved it, there were lots of dinosaurs to look (and roar) at, buttons to press which made noises etc. Upstairs there is a children play area with drawing, standout and a computer in the corner which we think had a game on it, but our little girl isn't quite... I visited Dinostar with a young lad aged 9 and we both had a great time! There are lots of different types of hands-on activities to keep kids of different ages interested and engaged including ink stamps to collect during the visit and sound effects with the models. There was also a mock archaeological dig where you use brushes to... More
