As a youth we used to visit the boating lake and park but over the years vandalism and wear & tear look its toll leaving it decidedly shabby. Now lottery funding has been used to restore it to something slightly different to its 'Victorian' original identity. It has good, safe, modern play areas. Close to the site of the old... More

A great free event hosted within East Park and its range of family orientated activities and facilities. The event was well managed and well attended - there was a very full programme and my grandchildren found everything exciting and best of all with young children they were made to feel welcome.

East Park is a hidden gem in Hull. It is very well maintained, there is plenty of seating and huge open areas for the children to play. The play park is well equipped with lots for small children as well as the older ones. There is a lake and little bridges criss cross the park. Our grandson loves the animal... More

We took our 3 and 1 year old to East Park with it being an unusually warm day for late September. The kids loved walking up and down the little muddy mounds with bushes and trees, squirrels and butterflies around them. Walking under and over little bridges. Then to the play park where there are an assortment of things for... More

We visited East Park last week to entertain our 4 year old for a couple of hours and were impressed with how well it was kept. The staff responsible for the Park are a credit to the Council who employ them. We visited the cafe (which I've also reviewed) and walked through to the play equipment. Compared to another attraction... More

This is my second visit , came with my friend and her children as well . So much to do here for everyone , dog friendly , fabulous cafe , beautiful just to walk around. The swans are available to hire for a mere £3.00 or the old fashioned water boat for just 50pence for children . The animal enclosure... More
