16 September 2006. Tour guide was pathetic. All he said was take your time. He didn't give us a tour he simply led the way and when it was safe to do so he left us on our own. I am still in the dark regarding the history etc of the tunnel. more

My family and friends went to visit Dover Castle and didn't even know that these tunnels existed. It was so interesting and most of the children from the ages of 5 and up also said it was great. I would recommend that under 5s shouldn't go as it is dark and loud with the sounds of bombs. more

The Dover war Tunnels are superb. The tour is excellent and there is so much to see! Whilst down there on my second visit me and a friend happend to see a lone man appear to walk through a Metal plate door, was it illusion?
