Breathtaking for sure

It's a great place for walking, for romantic escape, very beautiful and breathtaking, and you can watch the Dover port.

Living in Dover, I walk the cliff path with my dog regularly. For some time I saw excavation work going on that I didn't understand. Then, in 2015 the Fan Bay Deep Shelter was opened. Going underground in the old war-time tunnels was fantastic. Coming out of the cliff face near the first world war sound mirrors really appealed to... More

Amazing to see the White Cliffs and have a short walk across the tops unfortunately time was against us for walking too far as darkness would have descended. Pathways were clearly marked by the National Trust and there were a few options to take. The visitors centre, also NT, was in keeping, clean and had the relevant facilities - cafe,... More

First visit to the National Trust visitors centre on top of cliffs and overlooking the ferry terminal / channel. Marvellous views, the NT do great coffee amongst other goodies and open 363 days per year. We will come back in the summer to do the cliff walk to the lighthouse & other tea rooms. Lots of parking and imagine it... More

We saw the cliffs while leaving Dover on a ferry across the English Channel. It was an incredible view even though it was a somewhat dreary, rainy morning.

We walked the trails through the park that runs along the top of the cliffs. Absolutely wonderful views and walking on top of and along the sides of the cliffs was fascinating. We even met up with several roaming horses feeding on the bushes along the paths and rest areas. If you have the time, you should walk the trails.

We enjoyed our walk along the cliffs. Managed to have a sunny day but still a bit windy. We broke our walk up with a small snack in between at the little coffee shop. Would definitely be careful near the edge as you can easily see how they are breaking away.

The cliffs are iconic and imposing. Well worth a look if you are in Dover. The roads around Dover were tricky though, very steep

Can be a lovely view looking from the top over to the sea or from the sea at the white cliffs. One of England's most talked about land mark and you can see why. Along with the wildlife of Dover it makes for a nice visit
