Parked our car for £3.50 and had a lovely walk along the White cliffs. We firstly parked up with our view looking straight out over the port. We sat here in the car for a few minutes while we took in the view and then moved our car to the main car park by the National Trust centre. We then... More

One hears about the White Cliffs of Dover all the time (unless you are under 40, in which case they are simply a high cliff along the coast of England). But a walk along the top of the cliffs is truly memorable -- one feels caught up in the broad sweep of history, recalling the hundreds of major events and... More

Choose a fine day, or wear wet weather gear if it's raining. A wonderful walk along the top of the cliff. Not ideal if you want to take a selfie with your hair in place - on a breezy day. However, highly recommended if you have a couple of hours to spare before the ferry leaves. The sea view and... More

A wonderful well cared for walk along the cliffs at Dover. Breath taking views across the Channel. Child friendly and wheelchair aess as they have recently built a new smooth pathway. You do need to keep an eye on the children though - the cliff edge is accessible. There is a modern self service café on site that serves a... More

This is a great place to visit!!! However, I did not enjoy walking around with our 3 and 7 year-olds. They like running around and we were terrified they might fall.

We spent a wonderful morning here on 31 October. £3.50 to park all day and we had the good weather with us. The view across to France was stunning and just sitting there watching the ferries coming and going was fascinating having seen the port as a passenger from eye level many times.
