The cliffs always have something new to offer for both experieced walkers and lazy strollers alike The National Trust has a shop and limited cafe There is loads of parking and lavatory facilities The cafe is very variable and expensive for what it is When the younger people are preparing the food it is substantially better than when the older... Mixed feelings about this place. On the one hand you have this beautiful coastline, but the view is spoilt by man-made constructs. The humongous harbour, ferries passing in and out, hoards of people walking about, your every step laid out for you by the National trust. It is all well intentioned, highly accessible, has every facility you need, but you... More

The Cliffs are there to represent you either going on holiday or returning via ferry. Why we need to write 500 characters is pointless by trip advisor unless you want us to make something up.

Spectacular and a real iconic feature of the UK. I recommend Dover definitely worth seeing the cliffs. The town is a little drab in places but friendly.

A new gravel path has been created for wheelchair users, but still a bit hilly. Well worth the views. Just watching the people travelling abroad is interesting or try a walk to Foreland lighthouse.

The famous White Cliffs of Dover are amazing and well worth seeing. There's a nice walking track along the top with you can get good vantage points.

Visited July 20, 2013 As an English teacher and a librarian, we felt that the White Cliffs of Dover were a 'must see'. They are, but please don't assume you are going to a 'beach' as my girlfriend did. To explain the entire day we had would take an entire book but I'll give you the highlights from two people... More

What a view! With various walks to suit different levels of fitness all the family were happy. Watching the activity in Dover port was interesting and on a lovely day the views are incredible.
