Visited whilst on holiday in Kent, fantastic views and a lovely walk on the chalk Downs. Lots of intresting geological and bug info on the day we visited as they were doing a flora and fauna survey. Visit the cafe for a lovely cuppa and can recommend the Flapjack.

I visited the White Cliffs of Dover in July 2015 with my son, daughter-in-law and their dog. The cliffs are amazing, the view to the ferry port is fantastic as we watched ferries coming and going all day. We could see the mainland of France from the top of the cliffs. When we reached the clifftop there was a lovely... More

The white cliffs are very worthwhile to see. They are visually stunning, geologically and ecologically interesting, and historically important. BUT--if you really want to see them well, you'll need to get out onto the water. There are nice paths to walk on up on top of the cliffs, but you don't see them that well from those paths. So I... People really do come from the world over to take in this experience. Best seen from a Ferry returning from the Continent these iconic cliffs really are a terrific site. English Heritage now administer the Clifftop area and it is possible to park and view the English Channel. Walks are available, with care, and food and drink is available. A... More

One of the best National trust sites. Extremely well maintained and very good facilities. The views are breathtaking, off course, and the hike is very mild. We only walked up to the first viewing point, but it was a well worth it. highly recommend it.

We drove up an unmade road and started our walk from the lighthouse. A nearby gardener advised us to keep dog on the lead all the time. The views as everyone has said are fantastic and France, the day we went looked so close, it appeared to be only a couple of miles away, our mobile rang "Welcome to France".... More

Great place to visit and walk along the cliff tops. Recommend suitable footwear and to keep small children well away from edges of cliffs

Parking only £3.50. Easy to find, but watch out, the entrance is right on a u~bend. Excellent staff, clear layout, plenty of parking. We walked about 75% of the way to the lighthouse..paths are awkward, not even and require concentration; but especially good shoes or boots. Views were stunning. Only negative, no toilets part~way and very few places to sit,... More

The views from land out to sea from the cliffs is spectacular, however I prefer the views from the sea. The white cliffs are so awe inspiring, a bit of freshness to the land. Cliffs can be seen for miles out and even after decades they haven't changed.
