We went to see the matinee show "Here Comes Summer" at the Central Theatre on Friday 3 July. This was the first time we had visited this lovely traditional 960 seat theatre with its convenient town centre position and close proximity to convenient car parks and local bus services. I understand that this architecturally interesting building was first opened in... More

This little local theatre has been around forever -- it was called The Central Hall when I moved to the Medway Towns forty years ago -- but it has been rebuilt and redecorated and refurbished any number of times, so is still able to offer a comfortable night out to its audiences. Its major attraction, part from being in the... More

I went here to see Sally Morgan and it's not a great theatre quite small so was a little tight getting in with the crowds, inside also not very big and in need of updating the decor but was an interesting night I would recommend if there's something on that you really want to see if it's near but don't... great show with a mix of songs and stars from the 1950s to the 1980s and beyond. it does include some comedy sketches that are ok. they also have a screen showing old adverts from days gone by. the singers are all multi talented and at nearly 3 hours long was very good value for money.already booked up for xmas... This is a great little theatre for either family for pants or couples for an adult night out. It's comfortable and the sound is decent. Depending on what you are watching the bar can be a bit slow but other than that it's a niv comfy little theatre.

I have seen many shows here over the years, most recently March 2015. The theatre itself, although not new, is well maintained and pleasant. The seating gives a clear site of the stage and considering it's age is not too cramped. The bar areas are OK and quick to serve. There is ample parking nearby and not too expensive.

This was the first time we had been to this little theatre in Chatham, and although the seats were a bit cramped (think people were shorter and smaller in days gone by) the venue was lovely. The show "Illegal Eagles" was great and didn't disappoint although think the PA system was a little off as it was quite difficult sometimes... More

never been to chatham before didn't know anyone in the cast, but I can say with all honesty this was a wonderful production in the true tradition of pantomime. how fortunate the people of chatham are to have such a beautiful theatre at their disposal. I hope they cherish and use it for many years. I am sure they appreciate... More
