I bought tickets to see a favourite comedian for my hubby's birthday. We were pleasantly surprised by the venue as we live locally and at times they have some big names. There is a small bar downstairs that was ridiculously packed b4 the start, like sardines really. We didn't go back at the interval. The theatre stage was very close... More

We went to see the matinee show "Here Comes Summer" at the Central Theatre on Friday 3 July. This was the first time we had visited this lovely traditional 960 seat theatre with its convenient town centre position and close proximity to convenient car parks and local bus services. I understand that this architecturally interesting building was first opened in... More

This little local theatre has been around forever -- it was called The Central Hall when I moved to the Medway Towns forty years ago -- but it has been rebuilt and redecorated and refurbished any number of times, so is still able to offer a comfortable night out to its audiences. Its major attraction, part from being in the... More

I went here to see Sally Morgan and it's not a great theatre quite small so was a little tight getting in with the crowds, inside also not very big and in need of updating the decor but was an interesting night I would recommend if there's something on that you really want to see if it's near but don't...
