Had a lovely visit. We spent about 3hrs walking around with plenty to see. The animals seemed to have nice big enclosures and it was also good to see that the enclosures were being updated and animals being moved when necessary. Ticket price £22 pp but lots to see.

Thank you for your lovely feedback. We are currently developing a new enclosure for our snow leopards which should hopefully be complete by the summer, so make to come back and see the changes later this year. More

My son and I came for the junior ranger day today, and had an amazing time. Sam, who showed us around, was friendly, approachable, extremely knowledgeable and very passionate about her animals and conservation. She told entertaining stories, gave us plenty of facts, and allowed the children loads of behind-the-scenes, and hands-on opportunities. She worked so hard, and was enthusiastic... More

There was hardly anyone else here today on this cold February weekday. Lots of empty cages made it of less good value than it otherwise might have been. Perhaps the animals were inside keeping warm - and I don't blame them as it was definitely a bit nippy walking around. At £22 per person it's not a cheap day out... More

Thank you for your comments and sorry you didn't get to see all the animals. We offer an Annual Membership for not much more than a day ticket which means visitors can come back any day throughout the year to see the animals they may have missed. Further information on the annual membership can be found on our website aspinallfoundation.org More

Howletts is another park that supports the breeding of animals and the return of many of them to the wild or other parks. Port Lympe near the coast of Kent is another larger park.run by the same organisation. It is expensive and visits really need to be in bright warm weather as animals are more likely to be viewed. The... More

We have passports( yearly tickets for a few extra pounds on your entry price!) and have been to the zoo many times over the last year. In summer the gorillas are really active and in the winter all of the cats are out. There are many places to grab a coffee or food around the park and also lots of... More

I was really pleased to learn that you always have a good time when you visit us. We do have an education centre that your children can pop into and there are animal talks during the day. They are listed on the boards when you come into the park. Hope to see you again soon. More

Have visited Howletts twice now, once with my family and once with my boyfriend. The type of visit I have listed here is "family with teenagers" but being in my early 20's I am almost that.... There was no big kids category. Anyway the park itself is small-ish compared to some zoos I have visited, but by no means is... More

Great zoo with some wonderful landscape however be warned that the road getting there has turned into a farm track with all the pot holes and loss of top surface of the road, not sure what that's about!

My best friend bought me a year's pass as a gift. We have walked round in January, but although chilly, the animals were relaxed and out and about for us to see many. Even the baby rhino put in an appearance! I plan to come here for walks, with an interesting sight around every corner. The staff are cheerful and... More

I live fairly close to Howletts and visit all the time using the passport annual ticket. This is £28 for a child over 3 & £32 for an adult. This is expensive, but ok if you can nip in frequently which is what I do. They have now banned scooters and bikes which has put me off going recently, as... More
