Really nice selection of equipment for all ages, toilets, tea van and ice cream van too. There are a number of blind spots so it's not always possible to keep an eye at all times as it is a very big site. Be vigilant, and keep an eye out. A fence would be perfect really. It's a locals park really,... More

This playground is much better than most, noting that it's free of charge. New equipment, and a very good range for different ages. Zip wire, climbing, slides, etcetera. PS further to a previous comment I agree this site isn't in a compound and is open to a car park and river; but you just need to manage your kids.

My partner and I took our 3 kids here in September. The location and play equipment are great. However, for ambitious and adventurous kids it turned into a nightmare. An hours play had passed and the Mrs and I had struggled to keep an eye on the whereabouts of our 1, 2 and 3 year olds. The play equipment is... More

It is still developing as a site as the toilets are not yet complete - which can be an inconvienience for potty training mums aas the bushes are then the only option:( However the ice-cream cart stopped by which gave some much needed relief from the heat - the ground was wet so the granite rocks by the zip wire... I took my two boys (10 & 8) to this park after it was spotted during a boat trip along the river. We found it easily and parking was fine. The park is all new with a great climbing frame and the usual playground activities. The boys enjoyed the park and playing football with the permanent goal in situ. Didn't... More

Visited the newly built playpark children loved it. Loads for them to play on and explore plus tables for picnics. Currently toilet block being redeveloped so not in use but once that is completed it will be excellent.

This could be a fantastic playground! It is a massive and gorgeous piece of land. the view on the river Stour and the surrounding trees are beautiful. An it is safe, away from the roads. So why on earth doesn't Canterbury care about it ??? There are 3 play apparatus so old that everyone will tell you "it was already... More
