One of the most picturesque and historic county venues in England. Resplendent in the summer sunshine.

This is a lovely ground, nice quirky stadiums and greta facilities for cricket fans and others a like. Lots of other facilities including physio and indoor cricket centre too. Go back regular to this ground.

There are other functions that go on here but we usually go to the cricket. It is a charming ground, it feels a very comfortable place to be. The viewing is good from all round the ground. The only thing that could be changed maybe is some additional food outlets on match days. Now that there is a local Sainsburys... More

Last day of the Festivities, Enjoyed a great show in the tent in the evening, I didn't know that so many people loved Irish music, the show was a full house, the inside of the tent was spectacular, lights, sound, seating etc... all spot on, roll on the next Festival 2014

very friendly & well run cricket ground a lovely few days except for the weather. As Essex supporters we were made very welcome particularly by all the staff.

We popped in to St Lawrence yesterday to watch the CB40 against Notts. Paying on the day isn't cheap, at £10 for parking in a local school (which takes an age to get out of - luckily we arrived close to start of play so got a distant space but next to the exit) and £20 an adult. But once... More

We visited the ground for the Canterbury Cricket festival in August 2013. Extensive modifications since my previous visit about 10 years ago. We were fortunate to be able to have a guided tour of the facilities during our visit and to see the extensive collection of cricket memorabilia that has been gathered by the club over the years. Understand that... More

In continuous use as a first class cricket venue since 1847, St Lawrence is a lovely ground. It is steeped in history and has stands named after famous Kent players (for example the Cowdrey Stand, the Woolley Stand and so on). Sadly the lime tree met its end in 2005, but a new one is now growing in its place.... More

Great facilities especially the bars, but a little more choice in real ales would be good. We all had a great time despite the awful weather conditions.
