A traditional cricket ground with just the right amount of modern intervention. A great place to relax and be entertained...even if Kent did lose :-(

The Kent county cricket ground is steeped in tradition and character and is a nice place to visit, even if you're not keen on cricket! The old plane tree that used to stand inside the boundary blew down a few years ago, but a replacement is planned - very British and very cricket! Bar and food both good. A great... More

On a lovely sunny day watched Australia v Kent pre-Ashes game. Good seating, great atmosphere/crowd and plenty of refreshments available. The only irritation was people smoking.......do not think it should be allowed in the grounds and there was not enough control on this.

Visited for a one day game to watch my county who unfortunately lost.A nice setting to watch cricket and I watched each session from a different vantage point which was really good as I mixed the locals. Before you enter the ground if you want sandwiches etc call in the Sainsbury's right outside the ground.

Busy but not packed. Plenty of seating all round ground with good views. Lime tree cafe provided snacks and drinks, short queues and friendly service but expensive. Directly opposite ( I forget the name ) provided sheltered outside seating, quick service ( and it was busy ) and fish and chips which were ok but pricey. Will visit again but... More

Shop with your average cricket stuff. Plus lots of toilets, sitting and services. Open area not noisy. Lots of parking and sainsburies on site.

The first time at this Ground for Cricket. Watched 20/20 against Somerset, with Kent winning. Enjoyed the match, weather was lovely and sunny to start, cooler later.
