Been here a number of times and so much better since it's refit. Could do with more disabled parking spaces but appreciate space is an issue. Have seen some great acts and shows here. Sound is good and great views onto the stage.

Havin read some mixed reviews of the Marlowe I thought I should set down our experience when coming to see The Great Gatsby performed by the Northern Ballet. We booked on-line on the day of the production as it was a last minute decision to go. No problems with the website although I did switch from Internet Explorer to Chrome.... More

Have visited theatre many times each time try to get row M as my husband is over 6 ft tall. Looked at shows for 2015 and could not get seats on row M for shows I would like to see. Are these seats kept for special people. Leg room is very tight compared to modern theatres. We are not all... More

We really enjoyed Henry IV parts I and II - thanks to the RSC. We were first time visitors and found the theatre really comfortable with good views of the stage. The only thing that needs sorting are the various uneven flooring issues near the aisles for the stall seats.

We are very lucky to have the new Marlowe theatre in Canterbury. Since the re-build it attracts more London shows and there is something for all tastes. Lately the Matthew Bourne Ballets and the RSC Shakespeare productions have been outstanding. My only complaints would be a] the lack of a centre isle which means considerable disturbance to get in and... More

This theatre can now put on west end shows, just like any you would see in London. Since refurb the whole place is first class. Drawback, high costs for ice creams and drinks. better to have these over the road at the local pub.

Expensive booking fees, a distinct lack of decent shows, and an ever increasingly unhelpful box office. Having watched a box office assistant get up to go for their lunch in the middle of a huge queue of irate people in the middle of summer ...that was enough for both myself and my friends. The one who did complain got an... More

We went to see a production and foolishly purchased seats at the side of the stage which were cheaper! but could only see a third of the stage, however on complaint they gave us some rebate. However, the staff are helpful and polite. and the layout is good apart from the seats we had the first time. Refreshments are quite... More

A lot of thought as gone into the redesign of the theatre. seats are spacious with good leg room. Brillient atmosphere. Pre ordering of drinks for interval well organised.
