Absolutely fantastic show. As good as any west end show. Lovely modern theatre. Even sitting in the back row you get a great view.

We visited the Marlowe last night on a wet and windy Thursday. You could see the coloured building in the distance. The lights could have done with being on on the outside, as the alley way is quite dark. The steps are a little slippy in the wet so care needs to be taken on them in bad weather. Once... More

We are a member of the "Friends of the Marlowe" and the new theatre is absolutely fab. The last show we saw was the Jersey Boys which was so good I felt that the London production couldn't have been any better, and it's right on our doorstep.i have already booked for Jasper Carrott whom I love.

Beautiful auditorium with bright red leather seats . With capacity of over 1000 top shows now come to the city . Leg room is a little limited but more leg room means fewer seats and higher prices so I think its just right .

It's what goes on inside that counts, which should encourage traditionalists to forgive the architecturally stark exterior! located just off the main street, enjoy a beverage if a meal in the pleasant cafe beside the Stour. The service to culture and community enhances the Canterbury experience and offers something for all tastes throughout the year. Be quick as seats seem... More

Only one evening but l Liked the size and style. The auditorium looked as though everyone would have a good view. My visit was to be in the audience for a radio show so I can't comment on the quality of any acting

Good theatre where you cannot have a bad seat unlike London theatres and much cheaper. Great productions.

I am a frequent visitor to The Marlowe and the standard of performances is of a consistently high calibre, attracting national and international companies and performers. Unfortunately, the venue itself is ugly and unprepossessing. There are limited toilet facilities and no central aisle in the main auditorium, which makes access difficult. The old theatre was beautiful, old fashioned and atmospheric,... More
