I recently visited the Marlow for the first time to watch Alan Davies. I had never been before and was pleasantly suprised at the ease of access to the building, seats and the layout of the venue. The theatre seats were a little hard and plastic coated made them a little slippy but they were clean and without tears or... More

The development of this theatre has been simply phenominal. From recent renewal the programme presented is exceptional with everything from small local productions to major West End shows and fine orchestras. It is our favourite Philamonia that is the resident orchestra). We have never been disappointed over the past three years of shows, plays and concerts and the organisation and... More

The Marlowe in Canterbury has always been at the forefront of top quality entertainment. This has continued with the 'new' and 'improved' theatre with all of the old nostalgia and atmosphere 'swept' away to be replaced by 'glitz and glam to justify its unashamed policy of chasing the high end sophisticates. This is local theatre at West End prices. The... More

Really like going to this theatre. Excellent choice of events. The seats are comfortable and angled to give good views. Worth being a friend of the Marlowe as you get plenty of advance notice of shows so that you can get the seats (much cheaper than London) you want - and very easy to book online!

Love the Marlowe, so close to home and a real gem! went to see Dirty Dancing and absolutely loved every minute of the experience, also found out a handy tip that if you are on the short side, at the front of the theatre there are cushions. If you cant see them ask a member of staff! The cushions gave... More

Lovely place but terrible show. Not the theatre's fault! Easy to park and nice and clean. Good view to watch the show. Worth a visit.

Nice new building .can have a drink or something to eat. Staff seem friendly. Only one thing that I don't like are the seats so hard and uncomfortable. special when you are sitting for a long time. other wise it's fine. the layout is good and plenty of room.

Went to see Texas at the Marlow. I had not been there in quite some time and had forgotten what a great theatre it is. The reason we were there was to see Texas. What a great show with Texas playing two sets. The first almost an acoustic set followed after a short break a full on set covering the... More

No matter what you see the acoustics of the new theatre will keep the sound true. The seats are comfortable for the wider hipped, such as myself, and even the rows have good leg room. Bar service can be a little slow and the coffee is mediocre. But then you don't buy tickets for the bar service. Pre ordering is... More

Lovely theatre. Still like it. Have never reviewed it before though. Compares with anything in the West End except newer, cleaner and close to home.Went to see the all male ballet troupe which parodies dance brilliantly. Men on pointe. Amazing. And all consumately gifted dancers as they demonstrate as the show gets increasingly more dancey as it progresses through the... More
