This is a lovely theatre and well worth a visit. The rows in the stalls (after the first five rows) are tiered and the seats fitted in such a way that you look through the space between the two people in the row in front rather than at the back of or over someone's head. The seats are very comfortable... More

Lovely building, with modern facilities. Lots of disable access. Lovely restaurant with not to expensive food. A great treat for my 19 year old daughters birthday.

My first time in the Studio (have seen a variety of performances in the main auditorium). I felt the seating and legroom rather cramped, and it was ridiculously hot. The cast of 5 gave their all, and there were plenty of laughs from the audience which I'm sure was largely made up of friends and family for this production. That... More

A great tour, well worth the money. A cuppa and a cake followed by a very informative tour around all areas of the theatre. I fully recommend it.

We go here a lot as we are 'Friends of The Marlowe'. There is a very varied program. Top comedians/bands/plays in the big theatre and also a small performance area for more low-key music.Foyer and upstairs bar and restaurant (I haven't eaten here but it looks good!) Last visit was for Kevin Bridges, had us in stitches! The seats are... More

Had a lovely evening at the theatre. The building is very modern and there was excellent leg room compared to older theatres. As the show was not full we had no problems getting out and also enjoyed an interval drink without having to queue. A very enjoyable night out.

Stephen Triffitt absolutely brilliant if you get the chance to see this astonishing act do not miss the chance he is astounding and the big band sound achieved by his backing band is excellent, he not only replicates Sinatras voice but also his mannerisms great show.

Just been to another great show at the Marlowe. Getting out at the end of the show is unbelievable! It takes ages to get out just because of the volume of people. We always say "what would happen if there was a fire"? Why did they do away with the centre aisle when they rebuilt it? I have heard so... More

I hadn't been to the Marlowe since I was a teenager at school nearby and had my first experience of serious theatre there. What a pleasure it was to return and find the place fully renovated with excellent facilities, especially the seats and the amount of legroom they provide, which borders on the palatial. I saw The Car Man, and... More

Trying to struggle up the stairs, being disabled, the use of a decent handrail is very important, but not here. Whoever designed it did it for people about 4 feet tall as the railing is recessed in a fancy cladding and to make things worse your hand gets trapped on the upright supports, painful! Next time I'll ensure I go... More
