this is one of our favourite gardens because of the beautiful and well kept flower beds there. There are ducks and a swan that lives there, so great to take kids as well. There is a large lawn area, which is great for basking in the sun during the summer or to have a nice picnic. There are some festivals... More

A very unusual pizza express venue, it's right by the river & very atmospheric which you don't very often get with pizza express. Just a very nice cosy feel about it & nice friendly staff too.

Such a lovely garden, it's a little too big to be called a garden, but nevertheless absolutely beautiful and relaxing. I definitely recommend this place!

These attractive gardens with the the River Stour running alongside it and filled with ducks, make it an ideal retreat 2 minutes from the town centre.

We were lucky it was a hot day so we could enjoy the sunshine and have time to enjoy looking at the old buildings and the river.... More

Always nice to end a day shopping in Canterbury with a walk through one of the gardens. A really pretty river walk.

This is a very nice for a stroll when a bit drier than it is at the moment as it does tend to flood. It is a quiet haven just on the fringe of a small bustling city.

The gardens (managed by the city council and there contractors) have had lots of works in the past year, some of it to reduce cost, flower beds have been turfed over and trees removed and shrubs and bushes cut back. now this time of year it looks a bit barren. This was a lovely place to go during visits into... More
