Beautiful. Historical.

Well landscaped. Was a nice walk. Loved climbing up to the mound. The stone walls are amazing. Has a coffee shack to get a hot beverage while strolling this beautiful park.

These gardens offer a nice alternative to the busy city centre and is also easily accessible from the centre. Large and expansive, these gardens are best enjoyed in the summer as you can set up a nice picnic and have a nice day in the sun with the family. There is a bandstand that occasionally plays host to live bands... More

Such a beautiful area with historical value (like most of Canterbury). There's a coffee stand to get refreshments, and plenty of places to sit. Walking up to the top of the mound makes for an exquisite view of Canterbury!

Walked along the city walls to this park, then climbed the mound. Bit scary at the top as no railings but great view of the cathedral as the sun was setting

Could be a lovely place to sit and eat your lunch in good weather and is popular but SO many people discard the wrappers and packaging and cans etc like it's OK or "normal". This should be policed in some way otherwise will simply continue indefinately

The city walls in this garden were impressive, when you climb the mountain in the back of the garden you get a good view over the city, but the view over the city from saint augustine abbey was a lot better! Don't come to dane john gardens to see a beautiful garden, you will be disappointed, if you come here... More

Great little park a few mins walk from the centre. There is also a coffee shop/eatery in the middle that is worth a visit.

Somewhere to take the children for a little picnic, they can run and explore free from the busy traffic of Canterbury

Get a great view as you walk the historic city walls of this fine old city. Interesting bit of history and striking mound that overlooks a park. Nice to sit at the top and gaze across the rooftops and walls. Glad we bothered to climb up !
