My husband and I went on a walking tour led by Terry, with a total of 10 of us on the tour I believe. Terry was fantastic and entertained everyone in the group from the couple of kids that were there to the older people as well. The tour was excellent value at only GBP 6 each, and gave us... More

this is a must do, buy tickets from the tourist information or the Roman museum, you get to go around places usually the public don't for example the Kings school, outside grounds only and the guide is very informative she even walked back with us after the tour finished and answered our questions it lasts about 1 and a half... It is best to buy the tickets for this wonderfully informing and entertaining tour online. It takes about 90 minutes and takes you to sites and sights usually missed - in particular round the Precincts of the Cathedral. The guide was very well informed and knowledgeable about more than the tour itself. More

This tour is first class - informative , thorough and entertaining . It includes Cathedral grounds, local history snippets and even a trip to Debenhams to see their links with the past ! - and gives a much better understanding of old buildings and streets. Not to be missed. More

Perfect if you don't have a lot of time to spend in the city. The tour guide was very knowledgable & interesting, but a little more on the rambling side. We were told the tour would last about 1 1/2 hours, which we could do w/ our kids since we'd be moving around the city. However, it lasted more like... More

This tour takes about 45 mins. You buy tickets from the tourist office. This tour is extremely good value and if you keep your ticket you get 10%discount on other stuff as well. More

While spending a day in Canterbury, England I was fortunate enough to take a tour with a terrific guide named Moyra around the Cathedral. She was very informative and quite funny too. It cost 6 pounds and I felt like my money was well spent. I do recommend it. More

My partner and I really enjoyed this walking tour. Our guide had a background in History and was therefore very knowledgeable about Canterbury and England's long and intriguing past. We learnt about the architecture of the old part of town as well as how different conquerors influenced the town and it's buildings. She also described the changes the town went... More

This is definitely a walking tour that can done several times as Canterbury has too much history to offer you in one go. Canterbury has a fantastic balance of original and sympathetically restored buildings with sections of the old buildings incorporated within them, and then of course there is the Cathedral. Even though Canterbury is a small city we recommend... More

For me it was 1,5 hours of pleasure: a lot of new interesting information presented by a very pleasant lady - guide. It didn't take much time but helped a lot to reveal the main places of interest for further survey. More
