Highly recommended. Its was towards the end of the afternoon so tending towards slightly chilly so they thoughtfully provided us with blankets and hot water bottles whilst our "punter man" punted us up and down the canal and entertained us.
We took the 30-40minute trip with Ian - who was an entertaining and informative guide, who quickly judged the character...

We decided to go on a punting trip as it looked very relaxing which it was. It is quite a short trip up and down some canals and wasn't hugely inormative but was very peaceful and calming and all of the staff were friendly - they gave us blankets and a hot water bottle!

I would have missed out on this delight if I hadn't bumped in to a young man called James promoting the tours on the high street. I'm very glad he stopped me as i probably wouldn't have wandered past the venue normally.
The boat trip was really relaxing and fascinating going under the bridges and tunnels and hearing the history...

Personally, I would preferred to do punting myself but he said it was illegal. so I did'nt. Overall, it was a nice, calm journey. I would like to do it with my...

When you visit Canterbury you are urged to gone on a boat trip and you have 2 options - a rowing boat that fits about 10 people or the Punting Company with beatiful boats, which was perfect for just the two of us and is cheaper!!
It was wet and cold when we went and we were offered FREE blankets...

We've had an as much interesting as entertaining and exciting tour through Canterbury with Ian, who's been telling us story after story with wit, charm and the most british of humour. It's a rare pleasure to experience a man doing his job by heart and more so enjoyable, if you're sitting in his boat for a wonderful trip. Thank you,...
