Took a tour with friends, led by Captain Tarquin. It was very entertaining and informative and would recommend to anyone visited Canterbury. It does go by very quickly but we thought it value for money. Even though it was peak tourist season when we visited, we had to wait for a tour so I'd recommend that you book your preferred... More

Even if you have a fair knowledge of Canterbury's great history, this trip can still teach you something. There is even a witching stool on the bank which they claim was actually used to dunk poor females alleged to be witches. If they survived, they were truly witches, so they drowned them anyway. If they drowned, they were deemed to... More

My nan decided she wanted to take myself and my boys on a river tour, to keep her happy I agreed. We got into the boat, boys excited and me hoping the 40 minutes would go quick, thinking it would be boring! How wrong was I, I enjoyed every minute of it! Being local I knew some of the information... More

The guides or "punters" are very well trained and the company does not even make you pay for the tickets upfront ... you only pay at the end of the boat ride if you are happy with the service !! If... More

This is a quick river tour but gives historic perspective and views not seen on foot. Our tour guide was excellent and provided good knowledge as well as fun facts.

A thoroughly enjoyable, informative and amusing tour. We have lived near Canterbury for several years and been meaning to do this for a while - so pleased we did on such a sunny Autumn day . Our guide Matt was knowledgeable, easy to listen to and full of wit :) thoroughly recommended for tourists and locals alike .

Party of 9 with teens and young children. All had a quite time listening to our very own Captain Tom. Historically correct and very interesting to all. A must doo if you're there.

Great trip with Canterbury brilliantly explained by Captain Henry. We did not want it to end and was really insightful.
