Awesome, sunny trip with Kris (with a K) and our "engine" for the tour, Will. Both were charming, knowledgable, funny and easy on the eyes. Really relaxing way to spend 40 minutes in the bustle of Canterbury. Money well spent!

Kris (with the K) was our oarsman and historian and raconteur! He was very knowledgeable on the history, let us interrupt to look at baby pigeons and ducks, was pleasant, funny and quite the charmer. It was a very pleasant interlude in the warm Canterbury sun and would thoroughly recommend. Thanks Kris

... but don't expect too much history. As said before, you don't go very far, there is a limited number of buildings you get to see, but it is fun and relaxing being on the river, and being told some stories.

We came across this tour by chance as we walked around the city, we were a group of seven and thought why not. Chris (with a C ( apparently this is important )) was knowledgable and witty and answered our questions with confidence.

Captain Max you were a star! You reminded me of my son with your lovely lisp. Anyway on with the review. Very knowledgeable on the history of Canterbury. Quick witted and very friendly. The forty minutes was packed with historical information that my husband and I didn't even know and we pride ourselves on our historical knowledge. In 123 years... More

Entertaining guides show you the sights from the river in central Cantebury, and suggest the best places to go on foot. Delivered with passion and good humour. 40 minutes for £8 a head was excellent value. Top one things must do in Canterbury!!!!

Lovely way to spend an hour or so. Our guide Tarquin was really knowledgeable, full of energy and a good laugh. We really enjoyed our trip and it was amazing to see views of Canterbury that could only be seen from a boat.

Our guide kris with a k ( he put the emphasis on that) made the whole group of people relaxed and in fine mood. Engaging and informative a good ambassador for the company. The trip takes about 40 minutes but you do not actually travel very far in distance although a considerable distance in time with history of Canterbury from... More
