Relaxing, fun, humorous boat trip. Our captain, Aex, rowed effortlessly ( at least, it seemed so) down the river Stour, for almost an hour, teling us stories about the History . He managed to keep us engaged in his stories by using a humorous approach. It isn't the trip of one's life, but it is an interesting and pleasant hour... More

We didin't expect much than an other boat tour on a river but this experience was fantastic! We learnt a lot of things about Canterbury an our Captain Dean was a perfect guide, even if I'm jealous of his beard! We were lucky to have a hot weather so it was refreshing as well! A relaxing but rewarding moment!

I went on this boat trip as I had an hour or so to kill before leaving Canterbury and I am really pleased I did. 'Captain James' made it entertaining with banter with those on the trip and fellow rowers and also gave some interesting information, all whilst navigating the very low bridges of the river Stour. To be fair... More

A lovely tour. About 40 mms. Very informative and interesting. Our captain (James) was simply perfect, funny and obviously knows his stuff. Definitely worth it.

Captain Nye was who made the trip so good. We went past several other boats having tours from other companies and they sounded dull, factual and not very engaging. Nye, however was full of information, facts, jokes and could keep an audience interested with ease. I go to College in Canterbury but didn't know even a fraction of the things... More

We were in Canterbury for 2 nights and decided to see more of this beautiful city. The tour was excellent and our captain John Veevers was very informative and amusing. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and it gave us another view of Canterbury.

Got a trip about 11am, which seemed to beat the crowds. Our guide (Tom, we think, with the baseball hat) was very informative and entertaining. Lasted about 45 mins in all, and was enjoyed by both young and old (and those in between). Would definitely recommend.

You will gain some information along with good banter but over priced for the length of time on the boat
