A day for all to be outside today. So good to not see the Historic River Tour Guides diving over their boats for a quick dip in the river Stour ... a gentle tour, peaceful and relaxing. Nice to see you and thank you for the peacefulness. :)

Canterbury historic River tour was enjoyable. The weather was a bit cold but luckily when we decide to do the river tour, it's about 12.15h and sun starts to come out. From start till end, the customer service of all staff was excellent. Very friendly and got great sense of humour in any ages. Boat can take up 20 people... More

We went on the very first tour on a Sunday with Boatman John. We were the only passengers which was great. You see some lovely old buildings and learn some interesting facts about Canterbury. Boatman John was brilliant. Although I will warn you his jokes are bad. Just saying x

We decided the price was reasonable and as the next tour would take place in 10 mins chose to go on it. Tom was the guide and rower for our boat. He was full of information... More

Lovely relaxing but informative trip along the river on a beautiful Spring afternoon. Vincent was great, his relaxed approach was just perfect. Kids loved him too.

Have just returned from a wonderful trip on the Stour with my 11 year old Granddaughter, who has been staying with us for a couple of days. We both thoroughly enjoyed the trip, rowed by Vincent, who gave us such interesting pieces of information about Canterbury. Vincent also explained how the rocks were transported from Normandy to build the cathedral... More

We are locals to Canterbury and know a lot of the history already but we had the opportunity of taking this trip. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Captain Alex was a well spoken, young man who had the unenviable task of rowing a heavy boat plus 12 people along the river at one point against the 'tide'. He said he was... More

Went to visit friends for my birthday in Canterbury and did the river tour on the Saturday, which was a lovely sunny day but still chilly when not in the sun. We had a punt with just the four of us in it as two other people hadn't turned up. I must be honest, we did get envious glances from... More
