Our transformation is complete and we are now open! We have a whole new look, we've extended our beer garden, put together a great new menu and added more real ales, craft beers, wines and rare premium spirits. Join us for cake and coffee mornings Monday to Friday from 10am and homemade Sunday roasts from 12 to 8pm. Our dining area is also available for private functions.

Nice renovation recently. But some ales were off and never replaced. However a nice Irish whisky prevented tears. Bit more effort on the ales and feedback will improve.

Many thanks for taking the time to write a review for me. I cannot improve without the feedback I get from my guests. We do sometimes have the crossover with the different ales as we are constantly trying to improve the range of ales that we sell. However I am glad that the tot of whiskey helped to ease the... Popped in while I was waiting for a takeaway to be cooked nearby. I was very pleased to see how the interior has been refurbished. It feels more spacious than I remember. Good range of beers on the day I called in. Perfect temperature for my liking. The place had not long opened again but had a buzz about it... More

Went for a Sunday roast at end of Oct and what transformation from our roast at the end of September! It was fab! Loads of veg (unlike last time!) so really good! Also the new puddings were delicious - choc fudge cake and the rolo cheesecake, handmade by a member of staff. Also the staff were so friendly and helpful.

I visited this establishment recently with my friend and baby for lunch. The service was excellent and I was made to feel very welcome. The food was good and the decor is fantastic. I will definitely be returning again very soon and will recommend to friends.

Went for lunch but was told kitchen was closed. Even tho on their website it says was open. Second visit kitchen was open but food was not good at all. Took too long to come out and was not worth the money it cost us. Won't be back! Also staff was very rude to my friend

Visited last week with my partner and daughter. The food was lovely and cooked perfectly, and combined with the exceptional service of Barbara and her team, in particular Natalie, The Crown is a fantastic venue which we most definitely be visiting again.
