Full of enthusiasm, full of magnificent whole and part aircraft saved from scrap, including the prototype Mossie that should now be ashes. They need support and they need cash but with neither they will succeed on their enthusiasm alone. Loved it! The 'Heron' seats must be the most comfortable I have relaxed in! Easy to get to and worth a... More

I have been a few times over the years. The museum staff are all great enthusiasts and their passion is very infectious. This really is a hidden gem of local history. The background and bravery of the Mosquito developers and early pilots is breathtaking, and brings a tear to many who visit. But it is also a fun place to... More

We all enjoyed an afternoon here, from my 19 year old son, to my 80+ year old parents. In fact so much so that my son now volunteers here. Not a long visit, 1-2 hours, but very interesting, and you can actually climb into almost all the aircraft!

Not huge, but authentic, well done and respectful of the exhibits. Strongly recommended for both adults and children.

This is a great little museum. It's nothing like I expected. The staff were great. Kids can climb into real cockpits and play with the controls etc. enough displays to keep you interested and its all in really lovely county side location.. Definitely worth a visit.

It's a small intimate museum with a lot to see. The main attraction is of course the Mosquito and it is well worth the trip. The staff are knowledgeable and eager to tell you about the aircraft. There are a lot of aircraft to see - Sea Vixen, Dove, Trident, Comet amongst others. You can go in the aircraft sit... More

A small museum which we visited primarily to use up a couple of free hours. Kids were surprised at how much they enjoyed it though - you can go into some of the planes and they had good fun running about (though they're 11 & 15!). If you're into aircraft I suspect it's fab!

An excellent collection of de Havilland aircraft and a cross section of British aviation history. Well signposted from the M25 and located behind Salisbury Hall the former de havilland design centre. Entrance is £6 adult £4 kids. Run by volunteers, who are all well informed and exceptionally helpful. Open Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday but closed during winter. Check the... More

Almost hidden at the rear of Salisbury Hall - in itself one of the reputedly most haunted houses in England lies this fascinating museum showcasing the history of de Havilland aircraft and in particular the versatile DH98 Mosquito fighter-bomber. This is a volunteer endeavour so don't expect spick and span displays but you will enjoy seeing the aircraft restoration and... More
