I feel the previous review may have slightly overrated the brilliance of the stonehouse! As mentioned the stonehouse does indeed have 2 floors; downstairs has more of a pub type atmosphere and upstairs features a second bar and a dancefloor. We were out in Hertford last Friday for a friend's 23rd birthday and started out in the local pubs. The night was ok but nothing special until we got to The Stone House. This a late license bar with 2 floors. Downstairs is a slightly more chilled environment, good for chatting and chilling out, where as upstairs is much more... more
