Had a very informative tour of this Cider Mill today as part of the Much Marcle Big Apple Festival with my walking group. Was interesting to see all the processes used to make cider and find out that it has been done by 4 generations of the same family. I sampled 6 of the ciders afterwards, the best being the... More

We went for a tour of the cider mill, which was quite enjoyable. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We went just before the new crop of apples was due to come in, so things were in full preparation swing. We had loads of sample once we were back in the store....so many delicious ciders!

We had done this tour with visitors several years ago, and found it much more value for money. This time we went on the 2nd October to have the whole experience. But were told due to Health and safety we could not see the apples being delivered and really the whole experience did not give an insight into cider making... More

We had visited the three counties show the day before and seen Weston cider, here and as we were driving along we spotted the sign for their factory. We had a very enjoyable and informative tour of their factory and then some sampling and lots of choice of their cider to buy.

We did the tour (£8) and walked around with the guide who told us lots of interesting facts about westons ciders and the way cider was made in the 1900's and how it is made today. Love the fact that its a family run buisness and the history behind that! The tasting at the end was ok. exactly what it... More

A working cider mill tour, very informative and interesting, the tour starts at the original farm house then takes you round the entire process of making cider from apple ( or pear) to bottled product. A tasting session at the end of the tour allows you to make an informed choice of which cider or perry to buy to sample... More

I particularly liked the fact that on this tour we were taken around the actual workings rather than a sanitised "visitor experience". Tour included all aspects of the cider making process, even viewing one of the original orchards and the old oak barrels. Do make sure you are dressed for the tour, which includes (possibly) slippery paths and many stops... More

The tour was excellent, informative and enjoyed by all. The guide was knowledgeable and allowed time for us to see everything. The highlight was the original oak barrels which have to be seen to be believed as well as the tasting afterwards. We were offered four of the standard ciders and then had the chance to taste anything else we... More

This tour was very informative and interesting. A worthwhile visit especially as you could sample the various types of cider and perry made there afterwards. The shop sold all the varieties made at reduced prices. There was good play area for children there too.
