For £8 a head forget it, really poor VFM. Tour is less than an hour and then pathetic sampling from 4 ciders in a plastic thimble. I live near Ferndown and do the Ringwood Brewery Tour regularly, that's a real tour, this is Mickey Mouse in comparison, just forget it and save £8. Just to compare I pay £7 for... More

Firstly, I would like to thank you for visiting Westons Cider Mill. I am so sorry to see that you were disappointed with your visit, as we always endeavour to give our visitors a good experience. Although you felt that the tour was not good value for money, you would have been given an exclusive pottery cider tasting mug to... More

This tour would probably be interesting when the apples are being pressed and you could see the full product from apple to bottle (and sampling). We went in mid July when there is very little to see apart from some old vats. The only interesting thing was when we stood in the gallery overlooking the bottling plant and saw the... More

We have been to Westons many times, but we took my son-in-law on Saturday for the first time so that he could sample and purchase some cider. Imagine my embarrassment when the two people serving in the shop were very unhelpful. We had to almost beg before we were allowed to sample some of the ciders. My husband asked about... More

The tour was very good and good value for money - the free gift was lovely. The lunch in the restaurant was really nice too, good selection, innovative use of cider in most dishes, food was freshly prepared. The grounds and plants are beautiful. Really novel and interesting visit. Shop was well stocked with reasonable priced cider and other produce... More

If you are expecting a delightful cider producing tour forget it. For 'Cider Mill read 'Industrial Factory'! Once through the 'staff only' doors, out of the landscaped public Visitor Centre, you enter the world of forklift trucks, pallets of aluminium kegs and shabby pedestrian walkways. Despite the good efforts of the guide, the tour is a disjointed ramble through sheds... More

if your a seasoned cider groover such as myself then Weston's cider mill is a must see. the cathedral of all things cider, the tour is around an hour with some tasting at the end. staff are friendly and knowledgeable. no close up disabled parking and not really wheelchair friendly on some of the tour but that's a minor inconvenience.... My friends from Austria were staying with us for a few days and I suggested that we visited Westons cider mill. This was my 3rd visit and again I was not disappointed and neither were our guests. The guide was knowledgeable, very friendly and polite. There was ample opportunities to taste most of their products. We ate in the restaurant... More
