Visited on a lovely sunny day whilst there was a country fair being held, this included traction engines, jazz band, games and activities for all ages. Made for a very pleasant day, might have been very different if the weather had been poor. The house itself was very interesting too. Cafe was good although a bit on the pricey side.... More

There is an awful lot to see inside the castle, the guides are helpful and knowledgeable and what is more you are allowed to actually take your dog inside. The grounds are very pleasant and worth exploring if the weather is good. We have taken many visitors to this attraction and will carry on doing so.

We had a great relaxing day out, the event was a vintage day, with Steam Rollers, music in the picnic area and Rowing Boats on the lake. The castle is stunning and also very interesting inside. Refreshments were available and we got lost in the Maze for quite a while.

We went for the day out at Eastnor Castle as we were staying with friends in Hereford, The castle is set in some spectular grounds with a lake, there are many events on at the castle throughout the year but this was a Vintage weekend with steam locomotives, classic cars, local jazz band playing in a picinc area. THe castle... More

We have just returned from a great day out to see a steam fair at Eastnor - the attraction isn't perfect, but the points below are just minor irritations and suggestions. Eastnor Castle is a great place to visit. Car park tidy, efficient and close (even the overflow). Staff v pleasant helpful. Grounds v nicely kept and litter free. Maze... More

We visited the castle over the Bank holiday weekend and were impressed not only with the huge knowledge displayed by the castle guides but by the kindness and friendliness of everyone involved in the running of this venture. Catering was great with very reasonable charges - very unusual when venues have a captive audience wanting refreshment! A really great day... More

Would thoroughly recommend visiting Eastnor Castle - we had a great day with the vintage steam engines as a bonus. We would also recommend the tea room - we had lunch there and it was lovely. We had spinach pie and a ploughmans - both excellent.

Great place for outdoor events. Childrens play area, Walk around lake and large picnic area. There was entertainment included in weekend. Disappointed in castle as there is little history of the castle in the contents. It is mostly a collection of antiques gathered by one of its predessors. There is a large chapel that was made as a present for... More
