When we arrived we were told that castle was closed on Fridays And Saturdays for weddings. On checking their web-site it is not very clear .that the castle is not open on these days. Could not... This was our first visit to this property, it costs £10 to get into but as members of English Heritage we got 50% off. The exterior of the castle did not look very inspiring but the interiors are very grand, lovely ceilings and wall coverings. We were not keen on the amount of stuffed wild animals and animal heads around... More

What a beautiful place! We had the most magical day here with our 2 and 4 yr old children. Walk around the lake was gorgeous and the play area entertained for hours! Great picnic location too. Maze was good fun and on the day we visited there was a fabulous animal show. Really good day out!

Visited today with my mum and dad on a day trip out and was pleasantly surprised by what Eastnor Castle has to offer. The castle itself is opulent and as a visitor you get to see quite a lot of the interior of the castle. Forget the National Trust - this is the real deal and for £10 entrance fee,... More

We came here with our two boys aged 6 and 8. It was a lovely day, the grounds are great to walk round and the staff very welcoming and knowledgeable without being stuffy or condescending. It also had a fantastic playground. It was welcoming and not overly commercial. I think I had thought as it was a wedding venue it... More

Great day visiting Eastnor Castle - group ages ranged from 2 to 70! Everyone had fun. Lots to do and see - great for kids. Castle is interesting to walk round and some good children's play areas. Lots of lovely woodland walks. Teashop is nice but a bit pricey but lots of opportunity to have a picnic instead. Recommended for... More

Called when visiting family in Hereford. The castle is excellently maintained, and the grounds are great to walk off lunch from their cafe/restaurant. All in all an excellent way to spend half a day or so.

Relaxing couple of hours in the grounds & castle. We walked around the lake which took about 30 minutes & then went into the castle itself. Very interesting place with a lot of local history attached to it. Be aware though that it tends to be shut on Saturdays as they have weddings there - beautiful setting for them as... More
