This is a must do place with the family, there is something for everyone. Lovely walks around the lake, large picnic areas and a great play area for the children. The views are stunning, the castle is beautiful. Today 25/05/15 was a family vintage day, loved the steam engines and the fair rides were free. The kids had a great... More

Myself, husband & our dog visited Eastnor castle today, May 25th, bank holiday. An amazing day out which were will remember for a long time. We have travelled up... More

Steam engine show on plus loads for family. Place packed as you would expect but no real waiting at all. If you are new to the area the walk round the castle rooms is a must! Lovely part of Britain indeed.

This is a fantastic Stately Home that the owners open up for days like this bank holiday weekend where you can view the property in all its magnificent splendor. Fabulous house with great history and period furnishings. Outside for this weekend only, there was a display of some real Steam Rollers and Steam Trucks etc. There is also a great... More

Came on an organised trip so with a guided tour thrown in as part of the deal. Our guide was very good, with a nice mix of knowledge and humour and happy to answer questions, etc. It's really good to see one of these places where the rooms are actually used on a regular basis. The big drawback for me... More

We planned to visit Eastnor whilst on holiday and by luck picked one of the days the chilli festival was on which was an added bonus. The festival was excellent but I am not sure if it hadn't been on how much there would have been to do for the castle & grounds on its own. Nothing wrong with the... More

Never again, as I'm disabled I followed the signs for disabled parking for this event, thinking that as is usual my parking would be close to the castle, wrong ! We left the car me walking with a cane which I rely on, having a lame leg and spinal arthritis. We had to walk for a probably a good half... More

Dear Margaret887 Thank you for your review and I am sorry you had such a bad experience at Eastnor. On normal visitor open days we make the main castle courtyard available for parking as close to the front door as possible. At the Chilli Festival the courtyard and all surrounding parking areas are taken up by the event therefore we... More

Decided to have a day out at a castle and incoperate a chilli festival as well. The castle looked great but it was so busy we couldn't get around it, we will visit another time and take in the whole experience. One of the highlights of the day surprisingly was the drive to Eastnor Castle, the views were amazing as... More
