you need to arrive here for coffee, if you are lucky you will be served by the ownerMark, then go to see the cheeses being made by his wife Karen. If you have timed it right, lunch will be being served when you have done the tour, so another delight awaits, everything is home made and the bread is made... More

Really like this place and stop by for lunch and supplies as often as I can. Great selection of local cheese. Nice garden to lunch in.

This is a delight; the cafe serves superb home-made cakes and scones, ploughmans, and the best coffee we've ever had (outside our own home!). Little things make this special - e.g. a slice of their own cheese served with the Herefordshire Apple cake, a large selection of jams, chutneys and preserves for sale, and charming greetings cards as well. The... More

Just outside the Leominster thee is small tearoom selling cheeses and also you can learn how to make a cheese. We had a light lunch made of cheese and salad which was very nice. And also the homemade cake here is superb . I would say here is the best cake I ever eat.. Lots of homemade cheese and good... More

If I could recommend anywhere in North Herefordshire for a ploughmans lunch it would be here. They use quality ingredients with subtly different touches. Also they do tea and cakes. The cafe is bigger than it looks from the picture with seating upstairs. and several outside tables. There is a car park and dogs are allowed if they remain outside.

Visited with a teenager and 8 year old. Tour was interesting and our guide was lovely. Small family business which is nice to see. Cheese fantastic. You will leave buying some! Coffee shop looked lovely but we did not stop to use it.

We did this tour as a fill in but found it was much better and more worthwhile than we thought. Everyone was so pleasant and so helpful and obliging it made one feel at home straight away. We learned a great deal about cheese making and certainly enough to realise it was best left to people who knew what they... More

Monkland is a very small dairy outside of Leominster and it makes an interesting stop along your route. If you go on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday, for a small fee, you can take a one-hour tour to see how they make the cheese. The tour was really interesting for us as we didn't know a lot about cheese-making and... More
