Very informative exhibit, especially liked the diorama of the Battle of Waterloo. Only drawback was that it was very warm in the building which meant I had to leave without spending enough time to properly see everything.

I'm not really a massive fan of war so this museum wasn't my favourite place in Winchester however I feel it would be a fascinating place for any military history fan. It is worth visiting the royal green jackets museum just to see the Waterloo Diorama it is fascinating and whoever made it has gone into incredible detail! The audio... More

We had never seen so many medals! A little over powering. But the exhibit of the battle of Waterloo was excellent.

We visited yesterday with 2 grandsons and both they and we were enthralled. Best was the exhibition about Waterloo (200 years anniversary this year) with a model of the entire battlefield. The commentary by Kate Adie made it feel like current news. Lots of good stuff to see in the cases but also some replica guns for the boys to... More

I was lucky enough to visit this museum recently. It is packed with history and is very explanatory in the way it is laid out. The icing on the cake is the scale model of The Battle of Waterloo and the use of lights that clearlyclearly the whole nine hours of fighting Not to be missed if you are in... More

The Winchester barracks are a stunning place and this museum fantastic. If you are a waterloo or sharpe nut you have to go. The displays were top draw and the model which is the center piece brilliant. The digital display that goes with it illuminates all. This is well though out and the best regimental museum I have visited so... More
