We love Marwell and it just keeps getting better. They are constantly updating enclosures, which I believe is good for the welfare of the animals, who have plenty of space and activities. A fun day out for the whole family.

We unfortunately turned up on the day which they were holding a race in the park. This was firstly quite frustrating as this hadn't been shown on the home page of their website so we were unaware - to be truthful, we would probably have visited on a different day if we had known. Not only that but perhaps the... More

This was my second visit and should have learnt from my first visit! I did phone and ask staff at the gate. They all claimed as far as they know all pens are occupied! This was far from the truth! Many animals were not there! There were so many enclosures that were empty. I felt completely ripped off. Expensive entry... More

Had a nice day out at this zoo midweek, good parking and easy to get around, lots of animals to see and watch (you can sometimes be less then impressed), admission is fair due to the upkeep costs of these animals but you do feel pressured into paying the additional "contribution" to help with there work by the way they... I've been visiting Marwell zoo since I was a kid, I always had great memories of my visits over the years. My husband and I decided to go as I had told him it was a great place to visit....oh was I wrong! ....The place looks run-down and the animals were few and far between, the map didnt match up... Visited Marwell Zoo on a rare sunny April day. This is a excellent zoo to visit, large animal enclosures and very clean. The zoo was busy but how it is set up there is plenty of room to stroll around without being over crowded, even with two groups of school kids in the park was still peaceful. There are plenty... The wildlife park is beautifully laid out and looked particularly attractive in the spring with blossom on the trees. The animals had large paddocks to roam in and all seemed healthy and active. There were clear information boards which gave enough detail, but not overloaded with facts. The railway train was popular and there was a land train as well,... More

Myself, my wife and our 19 year old daughter had an outstanding day visit here. Hadn't been here for around 14-15 years and we all loved it. The layout of the wildlife park was so easy to find our way round, with good paths between animal enclosures. We took our own picnic in the back-pack and found loads of grassed... More

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your visit. As you know, our zoo is large, which can often be challenging for small children. Giving our guests the opportunity to bring scooters helps to make the zoo more accessible for them and whilst we endeavour to police this and ensure that these... More

I love this place. It is one of the nicest, family friendly places I have come across. As a near local I am not only a regular visitor, I am also an annual pass holder. You can never get bored here, there is so much to see. They have a lovely selection of animals and the snow leopards are just... More
