I am not usually in favour of zoo's but Marwell does it particularly well. The animals have, on the whole, interesting enclosures and its only the larger animals that I struggle with. The emphasis on conservation is very important to me. There is plenty to see and you need a whole day there to take it all in. More

My wife and I regard Marwell as one of the better animal parks in the UK. Animals have lots of space to roam and it is clear that their welfare is of paramount concern. It is a great palce for families with children of all ages and it would be difficult to find somewhere equal to what is available here.... More
