I am not usually in favour of zoo's but Marwell does it particularly well. The animals have, on the whole, interesting enclosures and its only the larger animals that I struggle with. The emphasis on conservation is very important to me. There is plenty to see and you need a whole day there to take it all in. More

We decided to spend the day at Marwell and what a great day we had. It took about 3 hours to walk leisurely around the whole park. All the animals were well looked after and there were platforms you could walk around to get a good view of the animals. There were also lots of walkthrough houses like the bat... More

I live about a 30 minutes drive from Marwell Zoo so have frequently visited the zoo over the years. I am never disappointed when I go there! I last went on Valentine's Day to look round and it was as amazing as ever. As I personally interested in zoology, I found the wide variety of animals at the zoo very... More

My wife and I regard Marwell as one of the better animal parks in the UK. Animals have lots of space to roam and it is clear that their welfare is of paramount concern. It is a great palce for families with children of all ages and it would be difficult to find somewhere equal to what is available here.... More
