A great place

I went here in this summer with a special summer school (phoneix) for study and discover the city. The university is a beautiful place for learning also all clean.

Just finished as a Fresher at Southampton Uni. Best year of my life. It has great clubs which are cheap and the Uni itself is unreal.

Southampton is one of the leading Universities in the top Russell Group of Universities in the UK. Ranks very highly in all the major UK University rankings. Particularly strong in Engineering, Electronics and Medicine amongst many others. A campus comprising a blend of very new and modern architecture, offset against a backdrop of more traditional historical buildings. Includes the Turner... More

I'm an international student, planning to go to the UK to study Literature. We had a campus tour appointed. Being an international student, you'd think that they'd try to give a good impression, but it wasn't the case. First of all, we found that the signs referring to the secretary of the main campus were confusing. It took us almost... More

Have been attending The Audiology Department at the university site as part of a research project and assessment for treatment. The campus seems to be airy, clean and tidy, useful info boards scattered around, a number of eating places , we tried Cafe 12 near the library. Serving mostly cold prepacked snacks and hot and cold drinks. Parking is very... More

We think this is a really bad university. It is full of chavs and just un polite people. If you want to go to any university Portsmouth is much better.

A great place to learn, meet international students and faculty, and to be on the cutting edge of science.

If you are an international student do not go to Southampton University🚫 ! 🔹Each department is responsible for its own students and if you don't get help from your department you can't get help from the international students office or anyone. The student office is just "the reception" in my department and they were only helpful in issuing letters and... More
