Have been attending The Audiology Department at the university site as part of a research project and assessment for treatment. The campus seems to be airy, clean and tidy, useful info boards scattered around, a number of eating places , we tried Cafe 12 near the library. Serving mostly cold prepacked snacks and hot and cold drinks. Parking is very... More

We think this is a really bad university. It is full of chavs and just un polite people. If you want to go to any university Portsmouth is much better.

A great place to learn, meet international students and faculty, and to be on the cutting edge of science.

If you are an international student do not go to Southampton University🚫 ! 🔹Each department is responsible for its own students and if you don't get help from your department you can't get help from the international students office or anyone. The student office is just "the reception" in my department and they were only helpful in issuing letters and... More

I visited University last month, while there was snow around. I can say that it is very scenic, with a nice theatre, bar& lounge, very picturesque gardens, and amazing buildings. The library is very well organized, and the atmosphere is nice too, I saw too many happy faces, so I think everyone really enjoys his studies

Maybe a top Uni but very poor open day organisation. Insisted on everyone driving into Southampton centre (well congested) only to ship them out on overcrowed regular unilink buses. Total system overload. When we arrived at the start point there must have been 4 buses worth of people already queuing for the next bus/es. Useful events such as the uni... More
