We have held two events on the Shieldhall now. It's a beautiful old ship and the crew are clearly very proud of her, and rightly so. They are all friendly, helpful and passionate about what they do. Sailed down Southampton great weather, great ship, helpful crew - able to visit the engine room boiler room and wheelhouse during the trip Some steep stairs onboard

So much history definitely a great visit. My child loved it as much as we did. Well worth a visit -the oldest steamship

We went to a party to celebrating my friends Birthday. The Volunteers staff are very Knowledgable and so friendly.The venue is ideal for a party , because they will do any thing to make it work.They do excutions in the summer, please check, the web site.

Went on this for a Fireworks Evening trip during Cowes Regatta Week last year.Built to carry waste from Glasgow to be dumped at sea,then doing the same in Southampton.She was then sold for preservation and is now owned by a trust .They run several excutions in the summer months including trips to Bournemouth for the Air Festival.There is good accomodation... a great days afloat with the freedom to have ago at the helm of one of the best and most stable craft around, with the added skill of the the crew and boat all bonding together, a utterly fantastic and well remembered event POWERBOAT DAYS the best you can get

This ship offers trips in and around the Solent. A wonderful steamship with an equally wonderful volunteer crew. Make sure that have at least one trip on Her this year.
