Great for walking and for families

Dog walking, children's play areas ice cream van in the summer, lots of space to sit and watch the world go by. A nice chill out zone after a hard day

Nice spot by the riverside , very relaxing and great on a sunny day. There is a public toilet nearby which you have to pay for and also 2 fish and chip shops so always worth taking some down to the river it makes a nice summers evening. Lots of dog walkers and joggers.

Love our local park, Riverside is always well-kept with lots of play areas. Shame that the zip wire at Woodmill park has been out of action for so long but there's plenty to do to amuse the kids when you want to get them out and about without spending any money.

The playgrounds are clean and tidy and suit all ages, with one more suited to younger children. You can do the Junior ParkRun on sunday morning or just take a wander along the riverside looking at rowers and swans. Ice cream van is usually around as well,

Lovely walk along the river and then you can go for a meal in the Swan pub and if you feel a little more energetic you can walk to Haskins. Then walk of the food you had in the Swan or Haskins. A great around walk. Can park your car in the car parks near by.

Have been to this park many many times before. It's great for long dog walks or a romantic walk with your love one. Also good cycling lane. Park is great for all ages, my boys still like to play in it when they visit.

A walk along the river, last week, reminded me of how marvellous Riverside Park is. A different season just shows a different side of it's beauty. If you don't like it at low-tide, cross Woodmill Lane and walk along the non-tidal reaches of the river. If you don't just fancy a stroll, borrow a dog, a bicycle, unicycle, some children,... More
