Riverside Park itself sits between Manor Farm Road and the salt water side of the River Itchen. As well as the green spaces, small wooded areas, sports pitches and childrens play area there is also a model railway that is operated by enthusiasts and they offer rides for a minimal charge. There is also Woodmill Canoe Shop at the east... More

Lovely walk along the river and a great favourite with the grandchildren feeding the many ducks and coots. There is a small children's play area with swings, slide climbing areas and trampoline. More than enough to amuse small children. Pitch and putt is available and t here are wide open spaces for picnics and games. Free par king which is... More

This park deserves more attention from the city council. It has a great location and is spacious. It is a great picnic spot for city dwellers without having to travel miles.

Really nice and very big park! Two play areas, skate park, football pitch, floating bridge to go on and see swans, river, green space, ice cream van. Nice walk through from Bitterne triangle which has a few shops such as fish and chips and convenience stores over to west end which has a pub called the white swan that is... More

This park is very close to my house so I frequently walk my dog here. The park is lovely and overlooks the water and local wildlife. There is plenty of space to do stuff here with groups of people or to do your own thing. There are tennis courts, a skate park, goal posts, two childrens parks and if you... More

This park, to be fair, provided a nice variety of things to do including walks along the banks of the Itchen. However on a few occasions I have been here, local youths have heckled and thrown verbal abuse for no apparent reason other than for sport. I hope the incidents are isolated but they happened more than once when I've... More

Needs proper clean toilets, open sensible hours. I am disgusted by people who don't clean up after their dogs. I like the riverside walk, the swans on the river, little trains at weekends for children. There are 3 playgrounds and a skate park for young people.
