My family and I were heading to the Isle of Wight for a weekend. We normally take the WightLink ferry from Liminghtom however that closes at 9 and we were going later then that. Anyway the staff were really rude not letting us on a ferry we booked and then letting the ferry go which was half full and the... More

Having travelled a long way we arrived early for our crossing but still allowed on the earlier boat. We found the staff very friendly and helpful, ferry and toilets very clean and we will definitely tell family and friends we shall also be using them again come September.

Paid for priority and excellent first on, first off. Excellent customer service as changed times for sailings when arrived at Dock both ways. Staff very helpful and friendly and nothing to much trouble. Had excellent breakfasts, good value, on way out. Lovely experience and made holiday. Would use again if going to IOW.

Travelled to I.O.W for our hols booked the premier fare to get on and off in first 15 truthfully this is a good idea especially to get a seat and get out of crowds without being stuck in traffic getting off in Cowes. We did get on early and got nice seats in front windows that's where it started going... More

I have been using Red Funnel for more than 30 years and can recomend them as a fast, convenient and comfortable way to get too and from the Isle of Wight. Having said this, they are not cheap, like many other reviewers have noted the price to get a return to the island can be expensive, especcialy during the summer... More

A fleet of recently modernised ferries... If you have booked to travel by car, and given your registration number when booking online, they have a number plate recognition system, so the staff greet you by name at check-in. We always get there, about 55 mins before sailing, so we can be one of the first cars aboard. Once directed where... More

We used red funnel ferries for a recent holiday to the island and also booked one of their apartments for the Monday-Friday short break. Both sailings were excellent, although we did have to rush to get ready as we received a text at 7:32 that our 09:00 sailing was cancelled due to a mechanical fault and we could get the... More

This was my first time trying out this company and I was so impressed. My return ticket for a car and entrance to Osborne House was £35 - bargin. Impressed with set up, very organised, food was good, staff on board were so helpful with suggestions for our short visit. Would use again in future and recommend to anyone.

This weekend it's £109.00 to travel from Southampton to the Isle of Wight and back with Red Funnel. Yet next weekend it's cost only £69.00 for me to fly (by air!, on an Airplane) from Southampton to Leeds and back for the weekend. Bunch of crooks.
