Near the sea, it is a perfect place to have a nice picnic with your family and friends. Great area! and ice cream vans are just near by (for the kids of course)

I really like Mayflower park, It by the water, its in the middle of the City centre, but like other parts of Southampton...The rotting pier is a reminder that its falling into neglect. I can't believe that a big company (or even the council) wouldn't see the benefit of having a Boardwalk / Gunwharf Quay style develpoment down here? Just... More

It was a nice area to sit while the kids got to play in the park. Ice cream on a hot day. It was also fun to watch the ships coming and going

We came to the Mayflower Park to view the departure of The Independence of the Seas and Oceana on 26/07/2014. Plenty of parking and a fantastic view of the ships, loved it.

Mayflower is a lovely community park along the waterfront. If staying at Holiday Inn, Grand Harbour Hotel or Premier Inn, it is easily reached via the pedestrian gate along the Port road across from the Holiday Inn. You may have to walk along the fence to see it clearly. It is rusted and remains open throughout. Otherwise it’s a meandering... More

Always a nice park to take the kids. We come here often. Nice grass area for the little one to run about in and always a bonus when there is a cruise ship docked.

Unless you are on a boat, this is the only place from the town centre that you will be near the sea. It is a lovely walk in the park breathing in the salty air. It is about to change and be built on so hurry. The Mayflower sailed from here to America (it only called in to Plymouth for... More

The Park was lovely. Trying to find an entrance not so easy due to roadworks along the entire road! The Cruise ships left about 4.30pm and were amazing!
