I would recommend the comedy night at the tower, the ticket price was £12.50 and the bar opened at 7 comedians on at 8.15 but this included a trip to the top of tower which had a spectacular view even at night. The compare was great and so were the comedians. Food is served until nine and the portions are... More

Book online the tickets and save money. If you're in Portsmouth this is a must. Not the cheapest attraction in the city, but it's worth the money as the view is nice. Elevator takes you up to the 1st deck where the glass floor gives you a chance to try out yourself and your fear of height (no shoes allowed).... More

We paid £10 each and it was great late evening had a coffee and cake taking in the views across the harbor then up to the viewing plat form - very romantic and would highly recommend it!

Thank you for your comments. I’m very happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit to the Spinnaker Tower. An adult ticket is £8.95. At this time of year with it getting dark so early, it’s fantastic to be able to see both day and night-time views. I look forward to welcoming you back again soon. Sarah Webb, General Manager More

We've been to Pompey previously on a few occasions, but had never got round to visiting its most iconic landmark. As it was out of season, we had plenty of time and space to take in the marvellous views it affords. The staff were welcoming and the entry price of about £8 each is reasonable. We went on quite a... Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this review. You’re right – the Tower does flex up to 150mm either way when it is windy and you can sometimes feel it! I’m pleased to read you enjoyed the marvellous views and found our staff so welcoming. I hope to welcome you back to the Spinnaker Tower again... More

The weather was beautiful so the views were great. The various touch screens that are positioned around the viewing gallery's give a lot of information of what you are looking at.

I had the privilege to Abseil down the Spinnaker in August 2014. Having spent about 2 months waiting for the big day, I went to the report in area and was greeted by a friendly lady. Myself and the other participants that had paid around £90 (if I remember correctly) made our way to the viewing platform to get kitted... More

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. It’s fantastic to hear that you enjoyed your abseiling experience. You would have received a basic safety briefing on the view decks whilst you are getting harnessed but we have found that instructing participants on how to abseil is best done closer to the abseil time as many nervous participants... Super view from the two viewing levels, shame the cafe was closed for a wedding . We watched the sunset over the Isle of Wight , wow! Well worth a visit as long as it's not raining as you wouldn't see much. If you're brave you can walk over the glass section of floor looking at the ground way below.... More

I went up the tower with a friend as a dare to myself as I am very, very afraid of heights! Wasn't scared a bit. It is just like being in a tower block. Thoroughly enjoyed the views and had a cream tea! If you go with a local you get a cheaper price!

Great views, friendly staff, but something you would only do very occasionally and then as part of a group. Being local to the area, we tend to take visiting friends colleagues along. Good idea to combine a shopping trip to Gunwharf Quay with lots of eating options and maybe take in a movie at the cinema. As a lot of... More

Thank you for your comments. I’m happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit and found the Spinnaker Tower team so friendly too. We are pleased to accept Tesco Clubcard vouchers. For those without clubcard vouchers, we offer a 15% online discount when you pre-book your trip. It’s disappointing, of course, to read that you feel the experience is expensive.... More

Visited a few times and the view is great as you can see Portsmouth and the surrounding areas. On the other hand the admission fees are a bit pricey but is a bit cheaper being a Portsmouth resident. The café is quite pricey but was what I expected. Good place to see the city if you're on a visit but... More
