I visit Staunton Park several times a week to safely walk my dog. Both he and I enjoy the freedom to walk amongst nature. There is a picnic area, a children's play area, a huge meadow, and a fishing lake, all set amongst winding paths, with clearances housing carvings, and climbing walls and bird nests, amongst many other things. The... More

Love Staunton Farm but have been going here for years now that perhaps the novelty is wearing off. We visted at Easter and the trails are the same every year but for a first time visitor, there is lots to do for the whole day. Would recommend taking a picnic as the café is overpriced and not the best.

This is a very colourful and photogenic small boating lake. There are plenty of crabs in there so if you are careful to handle them and return safely to the pool why not try your hand at crabbing! Plenty of gulls about so be careful with your crab catch. There is some basic cafe facilities and toilets. There are quite... More

I visited with my family this week. Overall we were very disappointed. The gardens are unkept and full of weeds (my own garden has more variety) and the glasshouse is dirty and overgrown, and the sensory garden was just non existent as it was a dead looking fern base as the main feature. The farm was ok but has few... More

because of a family annual ticket, you get free entrance and car parking. there is a small shop before the entrance where you can get ice cream so of course thats where we started. having endorsed our free entry, we bought a bag of food for the animals and proceeded to wander around, seeing the various animals along with their... Took my 18m daughter here recently. She had a great time. Parking is charged but refunded off your ticket price if you visit the farm. We also purchased a bag of food for the animals for 75p. there are goats, sheep, deer, pigs, horses, alpaca, rabbits, guinea pigs, chicken, other birds here. Some animals fenced off but also an area where you can go inside with... More

This is a review of the free to enter park side only. I have been visiting Staunton park for over 50 years now and still feel it is a timeless area where you can relax and get away from it all. The park is exceptionally well kept and always a pleasure to visit.

It was great to be able to wander in the woods and clear the fusty smells from the Mary Rose! The garden too were lovely. We had met friends for a garden lunch which was yummy. The soup and everything else was I am certain made from scratch that day.
