Upon arrival we sat in the car and debated if it was worth going in. Do not be fooled by the slightly dusty unkempt feel of the entrance to this museum, as your day unfolds you'll be pleasantly surprised. Not only do you get a tour of a real A class submarine by an ex-submariner but there are many excellent displays that bring home what life in one of the oddest environments must be like.... more
