Guest at a wedding - great location - very good staff - would not hesitate to recommend. Only downside is they are very strict about taking alcohol outside, the married couple were not even allowed to take ginger beer outside in champagne glasses for the photos because 'it looked like alcohol'?!

We were here for a friends wedding and i couldn't recommend the venue enough. It was a perfect backdrop to a beautiful wedding. The staff were very attentive, whilst not being intrusive on the day.

Afternoon tea in the Square Tower is one of the best I have ever had. A good variety of finger cut sandwiches, excellent home made cakes including meringues, brownies, macaroons and various tasting sponges cake, as well as two varieties of scone, clotted cream and jam.We were never short of tea or coffee, a very enjoyable afternoon. Felt very spoilt... More

Well worth a visit, but youngsters may well be a bit bored here, there is of course the sea wall to explore and that's going to take a good hour to complete, remember no wheelchair access up those towers, afraid it was more important to fire a gun from , if it's a windy day wear a coat or expect... This tourist attraction can be difficult to find open as it is often busy with private hire events, play productions, private business hires and weddings and funeral hires. It is steeped in history but short on detail - being principle a venue hire building.

Went to see a play here and the setting was very appropriate for the subject of the play. Also here for a wedding which was nicely done with plenty of parking nearby.

This is a beautiful venue. We have heard music here several times and will be back for more. Great acoustics, intimate atmosphere and the Square Roots organisers are welcoming. Always good beer, locally sourced. Parking is easy and the Solent laps gently just near the door of the venue. Toilets are basic, but clean and adequate.

What a good idea to put a trail guiding you to all the point of interest in the pavement. Walk through the shopping centre to the rear by the sea front and pick up the trail to guide you to the more interesting parts of old Portsmouth. with the exception of the Isle of Wight frry terminal you get to... Excellent venue for functions, weddings and the occasional music gig. Several interesting pubs and restaurants nearby and within a 5 minute walk of Sir Ben Ainslies massive Americas Cup building.
