The wedding of our son took place here on 25th September. He and his wife also had their reception here. The organisation by Steve and his wife was excellent and everything was done professionally but in a calm and relaxed way. Everyone enjoyed the whole experience. Would definitely recommend the Square Tower.

Our son got married here and stayed for the reception. Fantastic venue, friendly staff. Little touches like a collection of homely china for the tea, together with china homely teapots. Lovely!

The Hampshire branch of the British Red Cross based in Portsmouth held its inaugural 'Swishing' event here. We wanted the event to be classy and exciting with atmosphere and a degree of panache. A village hall wouldn't do and hotels cost a fortune and can lack atmosphere. The Square Tower ticked all our boxes. It has 'atmosphere' in spades and... More

I am getting married here in 2015, and have visited several times for planning, showing relatives the location, etc, as well as having been to several of the craft fairs/vintage pop up tea days. The enthusiasm of Steve and his team/family is second to none, they have always made us feel welcome, valued and special. They are working hard to... More

Was invited to a fantastic medieval banquet here. They do them from time to time with all the frills and you can hire them for your wedding/stag night/club or society party etc. The organisers provided costumes if you couldn't find one of your own, and all the entertainment, which included: crossbow, archery, medieval ball games and dancing. The bar was... More

Our daughter had her wedding here on Monday 4th August. Nothing was too much trouble for Steve and Julia to make the day perfect. The day was very individual rather than a 'package'-type wedding at a hotel. Take advantage of the monthly craft fairs to have a look around and talk to Steve and Julia about your ideas. Thanks for... More

We held our wedding ceremony here on Friday 1st August and it was absolutely perfect! Steve was so helpful right from the off and we are so grateful! The building itself is completely gorgeous and because the weather was dry, our guests were able to make use of the roof terrace for prosecco with a view! I can not say... More

When events are on, such as the craft fair, then there's a pop up vintage tea room, old style crockery and old style cakes. See the website for details: http://www.squaretower.co.uk/index.html . lovely setting full of character.

I was invited to a wedding here, food was great a hog roast , service and layout for 80-100 people over two floors, acoustics good, staff very friendly , temp inside just right, not good maybe for elderly people as stairs steep and floor level uneven due to being a old property

Dan and I got married here last week and what can I say it was perfect. Right from the venue, to the location to both Steve and Julia who are absolute diamonds. They really did help to make our day as perfect as it could be. As mentioned in previous reviews from the outside it looks just like a square... More
