For the money you pay go in I thought it would have been bigger. The glass tunnel that you can walk through is only short and that is the best bit. If was feeding time for the otters when we were there but you couldn't hear what the member of staff was saying as he was stood behind everybody.

This place is just a small step up from a pets at home with a sizeable fish section. We walked around in about 20 minutes and that was slow paced, I really couldn't recommend this place especially considering the price.

Went here today with my mother and 2 year old niece. Was ok but a little small and expensive for what it is. Quite alot to look at but the outside play area and water fountains were not working and the whole place looked a little run down. What struck me the most was a couple of the turtle tanks... More

The Aquarium is well laid out, with lots of information posters telling you all about the fish and sharks. Loved the underwater walkway through the tank seeing fish swim all around you. We thought for the money it was very small, and found ourselves quickly in the gift shop! We walked back through for a second time, walk slowly!

We visited as a group with four wheelchair users and found it interesting. However the windows into the displays in some places are to high for wheelchair users. The otter display was good but due to dirty low windows it was difficult to see the otters for those in the wheelchairs, but a nice place to visit.

We had a good day at the blue reef aquarium the only thing that really bothered me though is that it isn't that big for the money that you pay, we still enjoyed every minute of it and will be going back again, especially to the cafe they have at the side it were absolutely brilliant

Does the bare minimum an aquarium need to do, provide a relaxing and beautiful marine environment. A large mix of different fish, rays and few sharks it's well worth a visit if you have 1-2 hours to spend.

We stayed in Southsea and walked past it a lot on the way to Gunwharf Quays. From the seafront, it actually looks a bit shabby and tired. We love aquariums so put it on the list to do if we had time. On our last morning we decided to give it a go. We were so impressed! The exhibits were... More

We knew that we wouldn't have a lot of time in Portsmouth, so we picked an attraction that the whole family could enjoy. We have visited plenty of aquariums over the years and love to see the fish and other creatures. The admission fee was quite high - we had picked up a brochure of money-off vouchers for the various... More
