My wife won't write this so I will. She went with 6 or so friends. It was obviously awful. Please read up on this place before you visit - lots of people have been ripped off. Highlights of her visit included: The tour guides (if that is the right term) getting drunk Obvious fakery of 'ghostly' events One of the... More

I have visited The Ram 5 times, each with a paranormal investigation group. This place is often reputed to be one of the most haunted buildings in Britain, and is exceptionally popular among paranormal groups. The first thing potential visitors should realise - this is somebodies home, and as such, isn't run like a tourist attraction. No organisations (such as... More

My partner and I were house hunting in W-U-E and couldn't miss a visit to the Ram, which we'd heard a lot about. The building does have an evil atmosphere, and that's coming from my partner and I who are two sceptics. The rooms I found most creepy were at the bottom of the stairs, the landing at the top... I use to visit the place regularly as I was interested in the history of the place and wotton. A visit to wotton would not be complete without a visit here. I agree, don't set your standards too high....it's an old building and sense no spirits here.

When i went to the ARI i was very sceptical. I had heard both bad and good reports on the place. All i can do is speak as i find. Both John and his daughter Caroline were both very accommodating, warm and very friendly. Yes there are lots of stories that probably have no basis in fact , but this... More

I have visited the Ram Inn about 5 or 6 times and my advice is to visit with caution. There are a number of reasons. One of them being is people tend to set the sights too high, because at the end of the day it is not as haunted as people seem to think it is. After an investigation... More

Most visitors will not see much. But I was able to spend a night inside this house with a group of Paranormal investigators. There was quite a lot of 'activity' that night and many local people will not walk past it, even during the day. It's a pity that the National Trust are not interested in protecting it. The current... More
