Beautiful autumn colours everywhere you look! Lots of wide gravel paths for all abilities, and you can book a mobility scooter in advance if you need it. Be aware, though, that it is quite a walk back from the place where you return it to the cafe, and you can only borrow it for half a day at peak times,... More

Great day out. Went especially to capture the autumnal colours before the leaves fell. Two nicely laid out and easy walks, one of about two hours and the other about one hour ( allowing plenty of time for photo's ). Signposting slightly awry in places but otherwise very nice. Catering was disappointing. In the self-serve restaurant customers were queuing out... More

We visited yesterday with friends and enjoyed spending a few hours wandering through this beautiful arboretum very much. The autumn colours are spectacular. However. I feel compelled to point out that the lunchtime dining experience left a lot to be desired. The restaurant is far too small for the large numbers of people wishing to have lunch. There were long... Went down there today and the maples on both sides of the arboretum were particularly colourful to look at - better than last year having left it 2 weeks later. Some trees had only just started changing to browns and reds and will probably be at their best in 2 to 3 weeks (hopefully no storms in that time!). Best... More

Took a while to find a parking space (dread to think what it would be like at the week - end) and paid our £8 each to go in. We knew in advance that some parts would be off limits as we had our dog with us, however we were pleasantly suprised by how large the dog friendly area was.... More

A group of us went to Westonbirt yesterday to see the trees in there Autumn colours and they were beautiful.! The Acers were reds and yellows and were quite amazing next to all the different shades of green. We arrived about 1 pm and picked up the scooters that had been hired for us previously, as a few of us... More

A super day out. We went mid-October and it was very busy at the weekend, but this was only a problem when we tried to eat. Around the ground there were people, but it didn't seem crowded. The trees were in full colour and were spectacular. I would highly recommend this as a trip out.

The acer glade was truly superb, with many maple trees all in brilliant colour in autumn. Beautiful and well worth a visit in autumn

Wow,Wow,Wow The autumn colours were fantastic. I would also like to thank the staff who were so helpful. I had booked a mobility scooter but had been given the telephone number of the national memorial arboretum by mistake. As we had booke for 2 nights accomodation I thought all was lost but Simon, the manager allowed be to use a... More

Enchanting colours all the way long. But too many people. It was like to be in the most crowed Christmas market. Even if I knew that I would not have been alone, - it was a beautiful Sunday morning, perfect moment to spot the autumnal colours - I couldn't imagine so many people! For that reason, I couldn’t appreciate this... More
