We visited on a busy half term day but nothing could detract from the gorgeous colours that nature has bestowed upon us this Autumn. Alot has changed in the years since our last visit but the cafe was still good and the loos had been upgraded. £9 per adult is not cheap but felt good value. We managed a nice... More

Loved the trees and colours and stuck to the suggested routes on the free map. Shop was good value. Admission a little costly at £9 but have paid more for a less pleasant experience.

What a beautifully set garden; Westonbirt Arboretum. We arrived at 11:00 - 11:30am and it was already full of people. Probably the most crowded place we came across with for the last two days of our weekend break in Cotswold. This place is suitable for families, kids, dogs, oldies and youngsters. Beautiful collection of trees. Fantastic autumn colours. We loved... More

Generous concession on the admission for us and our wheelchair-bound son - especially as much of it is wheelchair-accessible on well-surfaced, smooth and not-too-steep paths. Even some of the paths immediately off the 2 main circular routes were good for us. Colours really beautiful - especially the acers. Good to see family groups and dogs enjoying themselves. Large enough enough... More

Westonbirt Arboretum was absolutely stunning last weekend, the leaf colours were amazing and very varied. We spent a very happy few hours marvelling at the wonderful specimen trees, creating magical vistas of contrasting autumn colours. It was lovely to see so many people enjoying themselves in such wonderful surroundings. Well worth a visit, especially at this time of year.

Luckily for us we arrived at opening time and by the time we left it was rammed with people. Cafe and shop got very busy with tables at a premium. The weather was warm with blue skies at the end of October which made the autumnal trees stand out. Muddy in places but only to be expected, a real treat.

We visited Westonbirt on the day after the predicted hurricane in October. We were fortunate to join a volunteer guided tour both in the morning, and again in the afternoon, which greatly enhanced our experience, was excellently presented, in a friendly but knowledgeable manner We learnt of the history of the arboretum, learnt a lot about the various trees, and... Visited Westonbirt today. Don't be put off by the traffic on the main road - there is plenty of space when inside. Took the Dog on a walk around Silk Wood - lovely. Maple Loop was very picturesque. They were even carving a turkey today (from a tree trunk; with a chain saw) at the Silk Barn.

We visited on a sunny day during half term when there were a huge number of visitors. Car parking and entrance were very well manned so that delays to get in were minimal. the queues for the ladies were reasonable and facilities for snacks were very well catered for. the autumn colours were magnificent and a special trail had been... As we have an yearly ticket(, friends of westonbirt) we vist often, but today may be the last time as the place is being spoilt by some selfish dog owners.Although dogs are not allowed in the old arboretum we spotted quite a few being walked there today(there are signs stating this at the entrances) We also saw a dog off...
