With 16000 trees and 2600 varieties there is a beautiful setting. Walks designed to show the best in season. You must like trees or walking or both, as that is what the arboretum is all about. Very disappointed in the purportedly 2000 year old lime which is just coppiced stumps.

This place is a must for garden lovers, photographers, walkers and nature lovers. Absolutely beautiful, the colours were awe inspiring - forget New England in the Fall this is England in the Autumn at its Best. There are refreshments provided and toilet facilities and plenty of parking spaces. Westonbirt is a lovely day out for all the family but not... More

Pleasant September weather so we went to the Arboretum for the morning . Had coffee in the restaurant when we arrived and then walked around the loop path. There are two sides to the Arboretum, one with lots of exotic trees and the larger area with a more English planting and longer walks. If you want a good Arboretum you... More

Autumn is a wonderful time to visit for all the family, there is a lot to see and do. A very cafe serves a good selection of food.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the arboretum, it was great day out, the facilities were fantastic, really excellent job by the forestry commission. Shame the tree walkway wasn't ready. Ah well we will have to visit again for an even better time.

We came here as part of a coach trip but unfortunately we only had a few hours here which just wasn't long enough especially as the Tree Fest was on at the same time! Brand new entrance building with lovely clean loos. We only had time to walk round one part of the arboretum where the 2000 year old lime... More

Westonbirt Arboretum was lovely - beautiful, well maintained and welcoming. However further information for the non-tree enthusiast may have been useful! Would still go back again however.

We live locally and have just signed up for an annual pass after visiting on a number of occasions since we moved to this neck of the woods a couple of years ago. Love Westonbirt, it's incredibly dog friendly where you can let them off the lead to explore the Silk Wood. Loads of doggy poo bins around and a... More

We broke our holiday to stop off and visit the Arboretum. Both of us are dissabled ane we had booked a Scooter each some weeks in advance this service incidently was free. The old Arboretum was spectacular, our only dissapointment was that we were unable to see the labels on the trees from the main footpath where we had to... More

Had a lovely day even with it raining the kids loved it just running free. Car park and entrance all new and lovely and clean. Unfortunately the toilets near the play area were very different and tbh quite revolting. I'll know next time to go back to the main new toilets. Stopped at the cafe which I found overpriced for...
