Lots to do here, various sports/games, children's play area, picnic area, woods, lake, museum in the grounds, leisure centre ditto - plenty of parking, including disabled parking for easier access to the museum and leisure centre, through the barrier at the very top of the car park. Bandstand where you can sit and listen to brass/silver bands on a Sunday... More

A wonderfully kept park and a beautiful example of English gardens. Stunning views when you walk around all the sections. It's nice to see a pond where the ducks aren't afraid to come up to you and say hi. Great for the kids to rum around and let off steam. Amy

Anyone living local should use this Park; they have various activities happening over the school holidays and bank holidays and an awful lot of them are free. Well worth a visit.

Have Fun Feeding the Squirrels & then move on to the great Museum, or the Sports & leisure Center. I'd love to see the model railway in action.
