Very disppointed with standard of service and food. Service on the evening we ate there was very haphazard. Seemed to be a lot of people leaving before ordering. Average food, overpriced.

We went out for a walk and saw autumn taking place with lovely colours and beautiful trees and angles to see. Lovely to be able to walk with children who can run and play at the park. Really enjoyed an afternoon out.

We strolled around this park and there were beautiful autumn colours as the tress in the Arboretum part are old and spectacular. It is a small town park which is nicely kept, there is a leisure centre with indoor pool (we didnt go in), an outdoor Lido which was closed as it's winter but looked great, and a medium sized... The park itself is lovely and big. Lots of space for dog walkers and a massive duck pond with lovely not shy ducks and swans. It has band stands to play in, a museum that is free to enter, a leisure centre, tennis courts and a really big play area. It is also littered with college students, who in my... More

Kids loved this park. Split into 2 sections according to age of children but no strict rules. Free parking is always a bonus. Great place to take a picnic. There's a duck pond too but we didn't see that. Public toilets were smelly but we cleaners were arriving just as we left so maybe they are cleaned frequently. Take your... More

A walk through the park indicated that spring was around the corner with the early shoots of bulbs just beginning to awaken after the winter

Not a big city park, but it has plenty to offer. Lots of swings and slides in the playground. And best of all a large pond with plenty of wildlife to see. You can also feed the ducks out children have loved it for a decade or more. It has a good pub by it as well when you need... More
