I went to the Cotswold country park as a bird spotter as I had seen that several birds I was interested in had been seen there. It was obvious that the place caters for people wanting a meal or a walk, possibly with their dogs. The lakes local to the info place and eating area were very popular but the... More

Had late breakfast at the Visitors Centre. The food was delicious and well priced and efficient, friendly service. This place is worth a visit for the lovely timber building alone. Also convenient to the Cotswold Outdoor clothing store next door. We really are privileged to have the Cotswold Water Park on our doorstep.

The park is huge with a lot to do if you are fit and the outdoor type. There are beautiful lakes and wildlife abounds. However the Gateway center is useless for information, just a few leaflets. The Waterside Cafe at Walters Lake is much better value if you need a snack. Some footpaths to birdhides are impossible to find. Use... More
