The park is huge with a lot to do if you are fit and the outdoor type. There are beautiful lakes and wildlife abounds. However the Gateway center is useless for information, just a few leaflets. The Waterside Cafe at Walters Lake is much better value if you need a snack. Some footpaths to birdhides are impossible to find. Use... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your visit to the Cotswold Water Park, and we appreciate your feedback. With regards to the information provision at the Gateway Centre, the information desk is manned by volunteers at weekends and during school holidays. The rest of the time it is possible to call the CWP Trust office... More

Living nearby in Cheltenham, we had never explored this area of the Cotswolds. It was beautiful... lots of nature to see and fantastic views especially during the nice weather. I would recommend hiring a boat to explore the lakes as it is very relaxing. The Four Pillars hotel is a great place to stay during a trip to Cotswold Water... More

Found this last weekend just of the A419 Junction Cotswold Water Park fist left, only just opened and in early stage of establishing the business. However the young staff are well informed and will help all ages get on the lake and try Kayaking single or double, Single or Double Canoes, Paddle Boards or Rowing Boats all with no fuss,... More

We live 30 minutes away but had never visited the Park, so a sunny Saturday saw the bikes on the bike rack and off we set. After calling at the Visitor Centre, we got on the bikes map in hand. Where were the lakes, we wondered, as high hedges hemmed us in whatever road we took. Eventually we found a... More

Around a 20/30 min walk through a nature area to get to a lake. Not many areas to get close to the lake to picnic or sunbathe though but still quite a pretty spot and quieter than the beach area in the school holidays

They might as well have a sign up saying children welcome if not in a buggy, wheelchairs users forget it. I really don't know how this a fairly new facility has got way without making at least some routes accessible for wheelchairs. In fact I think it's pretty disgusting in this day and age. Also five pound per adult to... More

Visited the neigh bridge lake today at somerford keynes. Thought of it as a great idea as im a keen carp fisherman and my girlfriend loves nature. So pleases the pair of us. Great entrance, signs, car park etc but then it went a bit pear shaped. Loads of loud 'unhealthy' looking people hanging out, sprawled across the grass areas... More

Went for a light lunch. My wife had a pr-packed sandwich which she said was quite good. I wanted a toasted sandwich which they could not supply. I settled for a pr-packed panini which they toasted and served with salad. The panini was tasteless and undercooked and the salad was without any dressing. I left most of it. The standard... More
