I've been looking at Church architecture for many years and am familiar with the "typical". This church is anything but ordinary,I would rate it as exceptional. Like many others it is a bit of a mixture of styles and it is interesting to spot them. There are a number of very high quality aspects - the fan vaulted ceiling; the... More

Visited here on the way back from Gloucester, and this turned out to be the highlight in a very interesting town. The centre of the town, and it was full of interesting snippets of the local history. Well worth a visit.

This church is a treasure trove of stories and visuals, but what made that come to life for us(4 visitors from Australia) was Pippa, the volunteer guide, who was on duty, highly knowledgable and competent. Brilliant.

Fantastic place - full of history. If, like me, you are a history buff then this is well recommended - particularly if you are interested in the Wars of the Roses. Stunning architecture too plus some well preserved wall paintings.

This is a must visit place! It is right in the centre of Cirencester in the Market Place. There were helpful Guides to tell you the Church's history and it was just beautiful.

Nice church, but not too special to be honest. The imposing look from outside leaves you maybe a bit disappointing when you enter, because the decorations are not as rich as in many other churches with a similar architecture. It is still a nice building and definitely worth the visit if you in town, not worth going there for it... More

We went into this church on the spur of the moment whilst on a day trip to Cirencester. They were expecting a large group on a pre- arranged tour within the hour but nevertheless took time to give us an introduction to the highlights of the building. They had just completed restoration work following years of fund raising and the... More

—attended a wedding— It's a large church relative to the size of the town, yet - by being wide rather than long - still manages to feel intimate. It's lofty, generously lit and - well - pleasantly churchy. Definitely worth a look if you're in town. (There are organised tours for a fee, as well as days when the tower... More
