Nice buildings in this area, and nice cafés and restaurants, but the shops were nothing special. Ok for a quick walk around this area.

liked the shops and Christmas lights ,didn't dislike anything. Interesting sculptures on the prom ,all the restaurants looked good ,although some of the prices seemed very high .

The hotel was situated only 15 min walk from here, so we spent quite a bit of time in this area. Plenty of nice eateries and bars, as well as boutique shops.

With the exception of a couple of chain restaurant/pubs its apparent that most of the retailers... More

An amazing choice of events / speakers to suit all tastes. Food options , temporary book store, book signings. Enjoyed most of all the sessions that gave the audience more time to ask for questions. In a couple the times personnel in "conversation" either talked too much about their "opinions" rather than the actual guest or were a bit stilted... More
