Every town should have an open space like this for people to enjoy whilst in the town. It is well used by dog walkers, families and others, and there is a playground, tennis courts and a cafe for people to use. It is not as attractive as the nearby Imperial Gardens, but it is still pleasant to walk through.

Nice shopping and restaurant area. Lovely on a sunny day to wander round or stagger from bar to bar!

This is a lovely area, close to shopping and some excellent restaurants. I stayed in a guesthouse, so I enjoyed the walk to dinner and some of the wonderful shops. Highly recommend staying, shopping or dining in this area :)

I run an ambles with interest group and I took them around the Montpelier area of Cheltenham. The oldest bandstand still in use in England and the first parachute jump from a hot air balloon took place in the park. There are plenty of eating places and clean toilets.

If you live in or visit Cheltenham, you really should visit the Montpellier district. Quirky small shops, bars, restaurants, cafes, a park and excellent transport make this the perfect place to live or just spend a few hours in. When the sun is shining, sit outside most on the bars and cafes and watch the world go by. Perfect.

An eclectic mix of restaurants, shops and bars. There is always something going on including art exhibitions, literary festival, science festival, jazz and music festival. A fabulous place to visit for the day or to stay.

Beautiful buildings, a vast variety of restaurants and winebars and lots of pricey shops make this the town's posh area. the Montpellier brasserie and winebar are the two restaurants I have eaten in...both are pretty good but not special.

Nice buildings in this area, and nice cafés and restaurants, but the shops were nothing special. Ok for a quick walk around this area.
