We walked the Cotswold Way over a period of eight days in late May 2014 from Chipping Campden to Bath. The journey was 105 miles on the path, plus occasional quarter or half mile diversions to restaurants and other attractions. The walk is just fantastic, and really transcends what can be written in a review. It's an experience any walker... More

...but watch out for the mountain bikes. The path interkinks and overlaps with several others such as the Winchcombe Way and the Holst Way, but this is the granddaddy of them.

Long but very enjoyable. We did this in the winter (end January) and of course it was cold but we did see some sun and no snow. The start of the walk from Seven Springs to Leckhampton hill is stunning with glorious views of Cheltenham and the Devils Chimney! Negotiating the busy roads at the Air Balloon roundabout is a... We loved the frosty landscape and the cosy village pubs and coffee houses. Recommend staying away from the A roads and pottering along the country lanes where English country life is still going strong.

I did the entire walk solo - 168 kms over 8 days starting at Chipping Campden and finishing in Bath. The scenery is simply stunning . I would frequently stop in my tracks in awe of the beauty before me. There are lovely B&B to stay in along the way. The path is very well sign posted but I did... More

We found hiking the Cotswold Way a unique and wonderful experience, but we had planned for 4 days, and ended after three. We were not prepared for the difficult ascents and descents, especially from Chipping Camden to Stanton. And again, the area that is also a motor cross trail near Cheltenham was very difficult footing. We had no problem with... More

We were staying in Cheltenham (highly recommended) and thought we'd try a few days' cycling along the Cotswolds Way. Not bike friendly - totally unlike the S Downs Way. If you are on foot, great views and worthwhil. On a bicycle - forget it

Having done some research we rounded on this walk. the weather was set to be rather dull and we decided on the short route. The signposting was very good and we had a very pleasant walk that started at Stanton. It was a very pretty village and a lovely walk.
