Walked this long distance path from Chipping Campden to Bath over 8 days in July. Booked all accommodation through Macs Adventure and luggage was transported. Overall an excellent experience but be prepared for different standards of accommodation along the route. Plan for some wet weather also in the summer months.

Did this long distance trail with my wife in June 2015. Our Bed & breakfast locations were taken care of by Macs Tours who also transported our luggage everyday. So all we needed was to be healthy and have sturdy feet. We started at Chipping Campden and ended in Bath. Stopping overnight in Stanton,Cleeve Hill,Birdlip,Kings Stanley, Wootton under edge and... Quaint old English villages and towns, great pastoral walks - you'd better like sheep & cows! -, Iron Age barrows, Roman forts, Norman churches and wonderful small inns, pubs and history everywhere.

I liked the quiet village of Cotswold. I didn't expect Cotswold to be such a great place. I would love to visit again.

We used Cotswold Walks (cotswoldwalks.com) on a friend’s recommendation and LOVED our trip. We walked from Winchcombe to Broadway, then on to Chipping Campden and finally to Moreton-in-Marsh. The first day we walked about 14 miles and the other days were about half that. The path took us through beautiful countryside and picturebook towns. Andrew, proprietor of Coltswold Walks, is... Hubby has walked the the whole of the Cotswold way and recently completed a 24 hour walk for charity. met some lovely people along the way, even a couple from the USA. Its a beautiful place to walk, so much so you dont notice how far you have walked.

In June 2015 we did a self-guided walk arranged by Cotswold Walks, run by Andrew Guppy (www.cotswoldwalks.com). The walk we did was an extended version of "The Cotswold". All of the logistics worked flawlessly. It was easy to book through Andrew, and we received our documents in plenty of time before going. All of the accommodation was excellent, and very... More

we walked from Moreton in Marsh for 6 days in a circle back to Moreton on Marsh. Overnight accommodation and bag transfers were organised for us along with walking instructions and maps. Each place we stayed was clean and comfortable and the bag delivery was seamless. The countryside was beautiful and the villages lovely. The walks ranged from about 4-6... More

We took seven days to walk the way, going North was a good choice, it gets more rural more beautiful as you go and you can have more time for yourself if this is what you want, instead of falling into step with others. With day packs you should be ok for about 16 miles a day, accommodation is available... More

Just returned from hiking in the Cotswolds with two grandchildren (11 and 8). We arranged the trip through Andrew at Cotswolds Walks (info@cotswoldswalks.com) and it was wonderful. With Andrew's help we stayed in five small villages, each one just like a story book, and then hiked about 9-11 miles each day. We would stop and a village along the way... More
