The Cotswold Way is a 102 mile long distance footpath which runs from Bath to Chipping Campden. It passes through Chipping Sodbury, Wotton-under -Edge, Cranham, Leckhampton, Cheltenham, Winchcombe, Stanway and Broadway. Apart from the small section near Broadway which is in Worcestershire, the entire walk is in Gloucestershire and Somerset. A great walk in the most beautiful countryside!

Scenic glimps into history. Lovely arcitecture. Well maintained vlliages. The roads are fairly convoluted and hilly so, leave your 5 speed manual transmission at home. Your knees will thank you.

Pick it up anywhere and you will find beautiful scenery and picturesque views. Well signposted with good places to picnic or eat out en route.

The walk is terrific, we did it in 10 walking days so we could see the countryside as well. Only one accommodation that was booked for us was on the not so good side, many were 10 out of 10. The walk is not too strenuous.

We did a circular walk up leckhamton hill on a find summer's evening. We started at the top of sandy lane-headed for the top and then walked down through some beautiful beech woods. If you go to the end of the top you can walk down past the quarries and Devils Chimney. We walked down the old tramway and across... More

I walked a short section of the Cotswold Way on a beautiful hot summers day in August. Parked in the car park at the base of Cam Peak/Long Down and first walked up to the top of the Long Down through wildflower rich limestone grassland and woodland. From the top of the Long Down there were fantastic views across the... More

Just returned from a self0guided walking tour of the Cotswolds with Cotswold Walks (Andrew Guppy). What a fabulous vacation! We did the self-guided Luxury tour. The inns were fabulous; the walks stupendous. Andrew's instructions were great -- comprehensive and really helpful. Each day's walk was different in character from the previous day's, which we really appreciated. Have seen in some... More

A beautiful walk through the Cotswolds with amazing views and good country pubs to sample. Pass through great villages and finish off in Bath which is a great city to visit

Walked this long distance path from Chipping Campden to Bath over 8 days in July. Booked all accommodation through Macs Adventure and luggage was transported. Overall an excellent experience but be prepared for different standards of accommodation along the route. Plan for some wet weather also in the summer months.

Did this long distance trail with my wife in June 2015. Our Bed & breakfast locations were taken care of by Macs Tours who also transported our luggage everyday. So all we needed was to be healthy and have sturdy feet. We started at Chipping Campden and ended in Bath. Stopping overnight in Stanton,Cleeve Hill,Birdlip,Kings Stanley, Wootton under edge and...
