This was our first trip to Europe and extended from London to Dover, Bath, Yorkshire, Lake District, to the Cotswolds. All of the areas were wonderful, especially the James Herriot areas in Yorkshire. However, the Cotswolds and the Cotswold Perfumery were THE BEST! Visited the perfumery in October 08. We went in to browse and ended up booking for the factory tour later in the day. We weren't disappointed, it was well organised and really interesting. The Owner is the tour guide, and an expert in his field , so there was nothing he couldn't tell you about perfume creation and manufacture. I... more

Not sure what I expected but this was really something different. The shop is like Aladins cave and I could look around it forever - in fact I think I did. The newly renovated factory and tour is really interesting mainly due to the fact that the guide is the perfumer himself and knows all the answers to the queations... more
