Description:

Located in the picturesque village of Bourton on the Water, the Cotswold...

Located in the picturesque village of Bourton on the Water, the Cotswold Motoring Museum is a fascinating journey through the 20th century that the whole family can enjoy. The Museum is bulging with great cars, quaint caravans, precarious looking motorcycles, enamel signs and an intriguing collection of motoring curiosities! Brum, the BBC TV's little super hero car whose adventures start and end at the museum can be found here every day.

Spent a couple of hours here one rainy November afternoon. There's a lot to see, not just cars but all sorts of motoring paraphernalia. There's even a quiz to complete as you walk round (though possibly intended for children it was fun to do! ).

good to visit on a rainy day, lots of things to see and do, you should also visit other venues while you are in Bourton and the surrounding areas, all beautiful.

This was a great little museum; lots of old (vintage) cars, motorbikes and even caravans, plus all sorts of old signage, toys and various other paraphernalia associated with old cars. They make it interesting for the kids too.

We all really enjoyed this. As well as old cars, there were all kinds of old things - boxes of food with ancient labels on, that kind of thing. There is an exhibit which is an old petrol station and garage from the Olden Days. (1930s?) Take the whole family - there's something for all ages.

Currently closed for maintenance, re-opening in February. This museum is a most interesting place for all the family to visit.

We were inquisitive, I remember visiting decades ago and loved it then. This time, it appears nothing has changed, literally. If you are a model or toy car fan then tha is the place for you. Also some real life classics on show.
