Nice place, some very well looked after birds, they have the only King penguins in the country and they are a great attraction, can get really close. Set in a lovely part of the country. Facilities are good, cafe is nicely set out. Nice and clean throughout and staff very helpful. Only downside is no onsite parking, had to use... More

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The penguins are great to watch - the enclosure is a bit small and a shame they had little cover as it was quite warm. The rest of the exhibits are interesting with plenty of details given about the birds and where they come from etc. My 6 yo really enjoyed reading these out. We... More

Together with my wife i spent a delightful 4 hours photographing birds at this attraction, rounded off by a picnic in their nature reserve on the River Windrush. All the facilities were clean, the staff helpful and plenty of areas were provided where you could eat, or simply sit and rest. Oh and did I say lots and lots of... More

Visited this place recently on holiday and we all really enjoyed it. Lots of birds to see and the place is kept very well, clean and pretty grounds, nice little kids playground. Our kids loved seeing the penguins being fed, wonderful to see the only King Penguins in England! They were gorgeous! Loved seeing the flamingos, parrots, owls etc. Really... More

Spent a lovely couple of hours wandering around here looking at the different birds and admiring the lovely landscaping of Birdland itself. Watched the feeding if the penguins where the guy spent 45 minutes telling us all about the penguins here and around the world. It was funny and informative, worth watching & listening too!

The whole family enjoyed Birdland. It's a great place to visit. Shame the lady on reception was so rude when my sister asked whether they did a discount for military staff. The receptionist said no. So my sister asked whether they could do it as student or concession rate. She ignored my sister and didn't answer the question and turned... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Birdland! It is the closest we have ever been to penguins, you can literally reach out and touch them. A great enclosure for children to see them close up and you can even see them swimming under water and catching fish, which is great fun. The park also boasts a wide variety of flamingos,... More

We came to Birdland on the last day of our stay in Bourton on the Water and must say we saved the best til last. We had a wonderful day and the kids loved the interactive sections of the park as well as the penguin feeding which was enjoyed by all. All the staff were amazing and could not do... More

This is a nice place to spend some time. If you don't have a special/keen interest in birds, 1.5 - 2 hours are more than enough to cover it. There are picnic areas where you can take your own food and the fact they give a day pass with which you can go in and out and often as you... More
