We visited Arlington Row on a beautiful morning at the beginning of July. Thought we would look at the houses, take photos and be off exploring somewhere else in half an hour. WRONG. We had trouble parking first of all as there were so many cars and tourists. Having found a place we walked over the small river bridge to... More

Just walk and enjoy.. Beautiful. The river adds to the feel with ducks and swans. Many tourists around.

Bring a camera and spend a hour in the village of Bilbury; it's a very charming introduction to the Cotswolds and on weekdays can be very quiet as the tourists head for the more famous spots. Very nice hotel and free parking available together with some short walks.

We were driving Burton-on-the-Water and stopped by this picturesque village. The row of heritage houses known as 'Arlington Row' was bought and repaired by the Royal Society of Arts (AD1929). There are people staying in it. A nice place to stop by. A little drive further, the Bibury Trout Farm is also another interesting place to go. We bought some... More

Just beautiful! Take the walk around the marsh and down Arlington Row! Then back across the river and along to the Swan. Don't forget to have some bread for the ducks and swans!

If you have never seen a village like Bibury before which is like any Cotswold village or surrounding area then this is absolute heaven for scenery, history and feeling British… however if you have been to the Cotswold it's nice but just the same as the other villages but with bus loads of Chinese tourists taking photographs.

Pretty spot alongside the trout farm which has lovely grounds to wander. Very pleasant to stroll down to Arlington Row & take a couple of nice photographs. Had a drink in the grounds of the the Swan pub, reasonable prices. Would be a good place to stay for a weekend break.

Visited this place when caravanning near Charlbury for grandsons christening. Had half day at Burford with lunch and a couple of hours wondering around Bibury and Arlington Row. Such a pleasant stroll and excellent photos....must come back again the fears teas are to die for

Generally the same old village vibe, if you've been around Gloucester or the South West. There are prettier and more interesting places to go (Gold Hill is more impressive in Shaftesbury). Nice for a 15 minute stroll. 20p for the loo is out of order though.
