To our eternal shame we had never visited this place- despite living very locally for a decade! We decided on a last minute stop here when we were looking for somewhere for a quick stop for coffee- are we glad we did!!! Lovely coffee shop and the most lovely sculptures in the garden! It probably will not keep you amused... More

We've driven past this place a hundred times and never got excited about going there, perhaps because of its name. It should be called: 'interesting sculptures made out of scrap metal into the shape of animals and hidden in long grass for your kids to find and to keep them amused for a while along with paintings and photos of... The long rural drive up to the imposing house built up our anticipation. We all enjoyed our time there, granny and the two girls. The artists in residence are a great feature and impressed the girls .We enjoyed the photographs and have been talking about the ones we really like. The eight year old has been remembering some of the exhibits the... More

We had never heard of nature in art before, and what a shame! Since I have visited, I have recommended to many friends, especially those with children. There's a wide range of art in all different forms on show, and so much to do for kids! Also there is a large area for kids to run around in and a... More

Nature in Art is the world's very first museum specializing in nature and wildlife art! Set in a beautiful country landscape, the Georgian mansion is listed in "England's 100 Best Houses" by Simon Jenkins, and is filled with a wide variety of art-works inspired by nature and animals. My partner and I first discovered Nature In Art on holiday in... More

Beautiful house and gardens. Unique art work of nature across all mediums. Some wonderfully big pieces scattered all over the place. Very easy to find. Has a lovely coffee shop and the gift shop is packed to the brim with loads of goodies. Caters to all of those interested in art and animals and shows a variety of local artists... More

We went to Nature in Art as part of a weekend away. Found it randomly on Google and what a gem! The place isn't big, but the galleries exhibit some beautiful paintings and sculptures. From landscape to flora and from fauna to craggy rocks this is a celebration of nature in art. Of all the paintings though I fell in... More

Very different. Just 3 or 4 rooms of paintings & sculptures, many of them reproductions not originals. However, most were interesting and we loved watching the artists in residence at work, and both were friendly and happy to discuss their work - the highlight for me.

We visited Nature in Art not knowing quite what to expect. When we arrived at the hall it was very quiet and, as the front door was shut, we weren't even sure it was open! Having ventured forth this far we decided to see if it was open - it was - and what a surprise! Beautiful art work, sculptures,... More

There were some nice exhibits the outdoor sculptures being its unique selling point. Great idea to have a children's play area within it. There is a small area for children to draw and do some rubbings (a bit more could maybe be made of this I thought) The wildlife photography exhibition was very good. The children had a nice time...
